Now even you can learn to be condescending.
stop ruining the FP circlejerk
Sobotnik is secretly Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant.
Well they only sued 11, and had about 150 cases settled outside of court.
Hey, when everyone, and I mean everyone starts disagreeing with you and rating you dumb, it means you're wrong. Take a break.

Many people can be wrong, but it is important that they have evidence. Only 11 cases of farmers getting into court cases have happened.
I like food.

Even if they had the money they'd rather not try to go to court for what would be a guaranteed loss. You pain me with how irritating you are, I can't believe that someone would defend these scumbags.
Not necessarily. Many people can be wrong, but it is important that they have evidence. Only 11 cases of farmers getting into court cases have happened.
This really isn't the measure as to whether something is wrong or not. You don't know that. You don't know that the courts rulings and law battles themselves are fought with money. Something those farmers don't have. So Monsanto forces off the book out of court settlements. A court is not infallible. A court has a lot to do with money. You're so convinced you're right it doesn't matter what you're told or the logic and reasoning that's laid out for you.
Not necessarily. Many people can be wrong, but it is important that they have evidence. Only 11 cases of farmers getting into court cases have happened.
K. Since you obviously are not comprehending why that statistic means nothing let me outline it for you in a theoretical case: Farmer John has his crops contaminated with Roundup-Ready Monsanto informs Farmer John that they have detected this copyright breech and are willing to settle for a 'shit-ton' of money. Farmer John barely has that 'shit-ton' of money. Monsanto HAS a 'shit-ton' of money that they can nonchalantly throw at a court case. Farmer John does NOT have a 'shit-ton' of money that he can throw at a court case. Farmer John cuts his loses, and pays the shit-ton settlement out of court. Farmer John knows that if he tried to fight it, he would end up utterly bankrupt and worse off than if he just gave in. Monsanto fucks farmers over. Let me ask you this: What if a random shrub in your yard ended up having some round-up ready genes? Monsanto would tell you that they are willing to settle for "100,000". You would tell them you don't want/cant pay that. You go to court, and are outmaneuvered by High-price corporate lawyers. You end up losing "200,000" All is fair right? So grave has this situation become, the MNRE reports, the full European Commission (EC) this past week instituted a two-year precautionary ban (set to begin on 1 December 2013) on these “bee killing” pesticides following the lead of Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine, all of whom had previously banned these most dangerous of genetically altered organisms from being used on the continent.
