In America he learned how to not poop his pants. Seems important to me.
Both groups were in the wrong here, Israel shouldnt have boarded the ship in the first place The activist shouldn't have fought back. Those 10 deaths are because of their own stupidity to think they can fight back commandos.
Basically my take on it. Did Israel do something wrong? Yes. Did the Activists do something wrong? Yes, probably even more so. Israel does some shady shit but this isn't one of them.
It doesn't matter who's "wronger". 9 people died and IDF has done nothing but exaggerate their evidence.
Both groups were in the wrong here, Israel shouldnt have boarded the ship in the first place The activist shouldn't have fought back. Those 10 deaths are because of their own stupidity to think they can fight back commandos.
How was Israel wrong in boarding the ship?
What do you think that Israel has done wrong?
They boarded a Turkish ship in international waters. I honestly don't think it's wrong, since they ended up finding all kinds of crap onboard in addition to an angry mob but my peers seem to think differently.
So you don't fight the school bully because he will beat the shit out of you?
You could do that, but the school should still punish you for it. The best thing to do would tell a teacher or someone else about the bully, not get into a fight with him.
Why isn't it?
Soldier "K we are on your ship stay calm" Guy Rushes at him Solider "Oh fuck, oh fuck, let me desperately pull out pistol then line up 4 head-shots one someone wildly charging me because that is totally possible"
He's American... Now I'm angry.
So you don't fight the school bully because he will beat the shit out of you?
I don't know about where you live, but at my old high school, if you fight a bully, both you and the bully gets suspended.
So you don't fight the school bully because he will beat the shit out of you?
In your eyes this is what happen; You and your friends are sitting in the classroom. The bell rings. The Bully walks in without a word and you with all your friends gang up and attack him.
They boarded a Turkish ship in international waters. I honestly don't think it's wrong, since they ended up finding all kinds of crap onboard in addition to an angry mob but my peers seem to think differently.
The international waters thing doesn't matter since it is legal to board a ship that is going to run your blockade. The "crap" they found however doesn't really matter, it's only weapons that were used against the commandos, not things like rockets or actual weapons, rifles, etc.
It doesn't matter who's "wronger". 9 people died and IDF has done nothing but exaggerate their evidence.
I'm pretty sure their proof is their bullet wound(plural?).
So you don't fight the school bully because he will beat the shit out of you?
That is a stupid analogy, the fighting could have been avoided entirely. The peace activists provoked the soldiers. So its more like you kick the school bully and he turns around and shoots 10 of your mates.
That is a stupid analogy, the fighting could have been avoided entirely. The peace activists provoked the soldiers. So its more like you and all your friends beat the school bully with a metal pole and he turns around and shoots 10 of your mates.
Fixed. I withdraw my previous assumption on the grounds of ignorance. (This isn't sarcasm by the way, I yield to you.)
That is a stupid analogy, the fighting could have been avoided entirely. The peace activists provoked the soldiers. Oh, and the principal gives him a medal.
And then everyone turns their cheek and some even go as far to defend him. Oh, and the principal gives him a medal.
The peace activist have nobody to blame but themselves for those 10 dead. If they dint start hitting soldiers with metal poles and throwing firebombs, there wouldn't be 10 people dead. Your analogys are stupid and pointless. Nobody has turned their cheeks to Israel, they're in deep shit for breaking international law. [editline]01:55PM[/editline] dont think that i support israel, i just have no sympathy for those on the flotilla either.
Right.. Right..
...Are you kidding? These are the commandos speaking, not the government. And if you even bothered to watch the footage, or even learned the definition of "blockade," you would know that searching the ship was routine, and that the Israeli commandos were very clearly attacked first. Of course, Facepunch is largely too open minded to consider any of that.
i don't mean to sound like an asshole but what makes this person more important than the other eight?
Not necessarily more important since the U.S wouldn't give a shit anyways. But the fact that he had several bullet wounds in the head and then one in the chest makes it seem really suspicious. It seems as if he might have been shot once, then a soldier went up close and finished him off. That's just speculation though, since both sides aren't necessarily credible sources.

Honestly, I don't know why the Israel government is doing all of this to stop a boat from trying to give relief to Gaza.
Honestly, I don't know why the Israel government is doing all of this to stop a boat from trying to give relief to Gaza.
politics
Again I ask, what international law was broken?
boarding a ship in international waters which isn't flying the flag of your nation or an allies nation. I'll add the sea blockade on Gaza is also illegal.
Actually if you read the latests posts in the latests threads it seems most people support Israel now.
Far from, we have moved from we hate Isarel to we hate everyone involved in this because they are idiots.

You're forgetting about the mob that the soldiers had to deal with, they wouldn't waste time by walking up to someone who was already shot and finishing off, firing several bullets. My assumption is that he hit the commando, and the commando aimed his gun at him and fired off several shots one after the other before the guy even dropped, though I am quite unsure myself.
I'll add the sea blockade on Gaza is also illegal.
It isn't illegal. Edit: And you can see that in this post: http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=22373565&postcount=27 [editline]07:03AM[/editline]
boarding a ship in international waters which isn't flying the flag of your nation or an allies nation. Both sides are incredibly biased.
And I'm guessing we won't see any video evidence either.
It isn't illegal.
Yea, my bad, i didnt read the reuters articles correctly. regardless boarding a vessel in international waters is illegal because it was more than 35 n.miles out from Gaza, which is classified as "high seas" or international waters.
It isn't illegal. I was also talking about general views on the matter, not just some board on the internet.
That guy who killed six people seem kinda creepy to me, don't they learn how to shoot people so they only get injured/disabled instead of killed?
guns are designed to kill the motherfucker thats trying to kill you.
