You want to give the UN it's own State?
May I mention the Bible and the Torah mention Jerusalem over and over again yet the Koran mentions it zero times. The Arabs have no claim to it in anyway apart from they owned it once and then Israel took it, why should Israel give it away to their enemies?
So we will accord land to people according to books written by men? Tomorrow I will produce a book that claims that Kansas belongs to martians and we should all leave it. How good will my claims hold in a court of law? Gimmie a break.

You kinda just proved my point that seeing as though Israel is the current owner of Jerusalem and won it fair and square from the Arabs, why should they give it to someone else who thinks they have a claim to it?
If Palestine is granted independence and is a formally recognized member of the UN, then it would be in their best interests to protect the integrity of their state by going after those who might discredit it IE (militants conspiring to attack Israel).
Lebanon is a formally recognized member of the UN and it's in their best interests to protect the integrity of their state by going after those who might discredit it, yet they fail to do exactly that. Example: Hezbollah.
Actually, if Israel will go back to '67 borders and will declare peace with Gaza and the West Bank, it might not just mean peace. A situation will easily occur like the one in Lebanon where there is a government which could be at war with Israel but even when it's at peace, a militant group such as Hezbollah can fire rockets at Israel and commit various other terroristic actions and Israel will then not be able to defend itself against such actions, since they are happening on another country's lands, and Israel will not be able to attack them without declaring war. So you see, if Israel were to pull out of the west bank, it would be highly unstable and there is a high risk that a militant group will do the things like I have written above.
Every assumption has probability of being wrong. In light of facts on ground, giving Palestine sovereignty is a much better option than keeping them under the boot of occupation. The situation at present is simply unsustainable and aggravating to not only Israel and occupied territories, but to majority of the world's governments including the international bodies. There may very well be border skirmishes just like Pakistan-India and Lebenon-Israel or even N Korea and S Korea, but at least Israel cannot illegally blockade 1.5 million people into starvation and making 80% of them rely on UN aid including UN hospitals, UN schools and UN food. Its unsustainable. A legitimate government in Palestine will be charged to look after its people. Building their own hospitals, schools and infrastructure will go a long way towards making Palestinians less reliant on international aid and helping the country on the whole. But of course, I don't need to preach the benefits of having a free country.

They already can do that and do it in Gaza.

So you think Soviet Union was completely justified in annexing Poland after WW2, and should have never let go of it? I mean, Soviet Union won Poland fair and square. It "liberated" (read: sent to prisons) the poles from the brutal Nazis, didn't it?
Edit: Soviet Union, not Russia
He is calling Muslims goat fuckers. Which isn't against the rules.
Garry did say to ban people for (his example) saying muslims "smell," calling them goat fuckers probably falls under the same heading

A bit late, but uh...

She did not do that.
Why do you lie so much?
Hey, she was in for 57 years. She's allowed to quit whenever she feels like it. If she wants to do it in style, that's her choice.
Too bad her career came to a screeching halt in disgrace instead.

I don't know what the difference between cattle and cows are, but have you heard of methane? I don't know Israel's actual reason, but that's my guess. I don't know why chickens, I don't know why for a lot of things. Doesn't make sense to me. But considering I'm not an expert at this shit, and Israel has been defending itself against Muslim terror since it's creation, I'd say it probably is, and it has it's reasons.
Just-world fallacy right here. You don’t need a fucking degree to know the blockade fucked up. Even a 10 year old would know cattle, chocolate and cement will not defend Israel from your ‘Muslim terror’. Stop making it seem like this is a religious war.
Maybe goats because Israel is trying to prevent STDs?
EDIT:
Apparently the actual reason: because it's an unnecessary commodity that is hard to transport, unlike regular frozen meat
honey and spices and stuff also aren't allowed because they are an unnecessary commodity. If they would bring these things along with the allowed items only the people who don't really need them would be able to get them because people who have enough money to buy honey and spices don't need humanitarian aid
Why the hell should Israel dictate and decide if you need enough of what? How about I refuse to let you have meats and sweets because it’s an unnecessary commodity. I really can’t believe how you try to justify this diet. Once again, I’d like to point out an obvious fallacy you keep trying to bring up.

I then later said you included it in you final rebuttal.

Cattle, chocolate, spices, and other unnecessary commodities which don't count as "humanitarian aid". I mean if 171 tons of supplies go to Gaza, if I was a Gazan I would want each and every one of these tons to be filled with the most basic supplies, and not some spices which would mean nothing to my survival.
Basically, two meals without spices > one meal with spices.

When a group of people are in need of humanitarian aid, they don't care about spices, they don't care about chocolate, they care about real food that would help them survive, and the ones who do care about luxuries, don't really need humanitarian aid.

And exactly who are you to decide what they want?
I don't decide it, Israel does, since they're the ones imposing the blockade.

You say that they don't care about commodities and I wanna know how you can be so sure about that?
I'm not. I personally would have preferred to let them have all these things, I'm just saying there's a reason behind the restrictions.

I can't see how limiting access to cocoa beans will weaken Hamas. Is hot choco on goat milk like Israeli kryptonite?
It is completely unnecessary and basically the only people who will enjoy it are the elite few that don't even need humanitarian aid, amongst them the Hamas.
I miss the time when we could massacre people without other people caring.
the whole boat thing reminds me of the episode of Ultimate Force which was set on a boat, and the eps following which showed the whole who shot at who and who did it first thing in court
i'm not going to read through this whole thread just to get updated on israel

We can't have those Palestinian kids enjoying candy, can we?
The blockade is absolutely illegal, and in no way affects Hamas. Only the innocent people of Gaza are being affected, rather adversely I might add. Look at this recent study by UNICEF on the effect of Blockade on children:
"Christiane Berthiaume of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said that the United Nations Children's Fund and its partners were working in extremely difficult conditions to provide help to the approximately 800,000 children in Gaza, which represented more than half of the population living in the Strip. Development gains in Gaza were being reversed due to the blockade.
According to a study by Save the Children, chronic malnutrition in children had doubled from 1.2 per cent in 2006 to 2.4 per cent in 2008, said Ms. Berthiaume. Also, no new schools have been built due to the lack of construction material and the vast majority of schools had to operate in double shift in order to accommodate the sheer number of students.
Ms. Berthiaume said that water and wastewater services have been rendered unreliable due to the lack of essential material for repair and maintenance work. Only around 10 per cent of the water in Gaza’s aquifer was fit for human consumption. Every day between 50 to 80 million of litres of partially untreated sewage were released into the Mediterranean.
Further, there was no specific list of what was allowed to enter Gaza or not. United Nations Children's Fund items have taken prolonged period for clearance into Gaza, including water pumps that had now spent seventeen months in the Ashdod warehouse, said Ms. Berthiaume. Math and science teaching kits had been stuck at customs since January because they contained periscopes and compasses."

oh jesus christ, burnemdown... you will create ANY bullshit excuse in defense of Israel, wouldn't you?
Israel has boarded the ship legally, according the San Remo manual of maritime law.
The commandos who boarded the ship were violently attacked and almost killed, they used their side-arms to defend themselves, killing 9 violent activists in the meantime.
