That's just statistics. The majority of non-enterprise PC consumers typically don't install alternative browsers. That's why Internet Explorer still has so much market share even though it's so far behind the edge.... I mean curve.

Thunderbird is a Mozilla project and was named that because of Firefox. But I see what you mean.
