they already do?
Please. A link. It better be free. [sp]Seriously, I need some stuff[/sp]
I'm still rocking CS2. Get on my level.
I'm still using CS2 as I never saw any need to get a newer version. CS2 does everything I need, and I got it for a really good price second hand.
The cloud worked for Diablo 3 and Sim City and it'll work for Adobe.
not the same. Those two need permanent internet connection to work, Adobe only needs start-up sign in every 30 days to validate your license, but even then, you can use 180 days without any internet connection.
I don't use it anymore, but I have an old Photoshop 4 disk laying around.
I think I still have my Photoshop 2.0 install CD for 68k Macs around somewhere. Unfortunately, I lost the CD key for it ages ago.
I kind of hate this, since I use my creative sweet as more just casual drawing and none commercial use, I would just be dumping money into something I like to use sometimes. At least I got my creative suit CS5 when I did.
https://github.com/panicsteve/cloud-to-butt
I got the Firefox version and it's great Anyways, I'll look into Sony Vegas. Thanks. (I love VirtualDub, but it can get rather limited after a while.)
I honestly don't see what's wrong with this, Adobe's Creative Cloud is a great service
Meh, I hated the cloud before it was cool to do so. (Bad first impression from Valve's cloud service) I really don't see why these software companies don't want you owning the software.
I transitioned to Gimp years ago and it still works for what I need to get done.
My butt worked for Diablo 3 and Sim City and it'll work for Adobe.
Why yes, yes it did. [sp]I fucking love this script[/sp]
-snip-
snip out of respect
post number 3
Ah, the wording confused me on how they priced it Still, having more stuff in the form of monthly payments is an enormous pain the in ass Hopefully that trend will fade away
Flash 8 and Photoshop CS2 master race.
As a network professional it IRKS me to think about everything moving the cloud. SO much of your workflow now is going to be based on your internet connection... what if your internet is down for the day and your business relies on Creative Suite? It's bad enough not having email, but what about your actual pieces of software that you do work on...
This doesn't work like that, you just have to connect once every 30 days, you still download and install the software it just does a quick license check to see if you're paying the subscription.
I really hope this cloud thing passes when everyone realizes this is all fucking stupid That said, I still own PS and Illustrator CS3
the products continue to work offline. Sometimes it asks me to confirm my login when I restart my computer
It's gonna be cracked, called it.
I really hope this cloud thing passes when everyone realizes this is all fucking stupid That said, I still own PS and Illustrator CS3
why is it stupid? [editline]7th May 2013[/editline]
It's gonna be cracked, called it.
this really doesn't change how it works, it basically asks you to log in every so often. Pretty sure current cracking methods will still work.
My animation teacher is an autodesk employee and he just told us to pirate the software. That's basically how autodesk builds up the monopoly, average joe learns the program on a pirated version and goes on the buy it for commercial use.
Autodesk provide free software for students so I dunno why he told you to pirate.
It's gonna be cracked, called it.
if you saw my earlier post I'd say Adobe is counting on it being crackable.
This subscription rate is an ideal way for users not to resort to piracy. For a working adult that is. For students is also a good deal for a temporary use for learning. Now if only Autodesk do this as well.
