I honestly think it's because you can only pay with paypal. If it was Steam based it would sell a lot more copies, that and the fact that you can get a pirated, auto-update version that has multiplayer with a name changer, that cuts the sales.

minecraft is like a jigsaw puzzle.

You start out frustrated when you can't find any pieces that fit.

Then it gets enjoyable when you start finding the right pieces and the picture is slowly coming forth from the puzzle.

Then, in the middle of the puzzle assembling you notice that there aren't any pieces left cause the producers stopped making puzzle pieces when they noticed that suckers actually bought their jigsaw puzzles and they stacked loads 'o money.

Then you just say fuck it and go outside and feel the sun on your skin and go to parties, get social, get laid and actually amount to something.
