Oh my god yes.
Colbert all the way.

I wonder what America would be like under Colbert...
Unlike a lot of politicians, he's actually a decent human being and has experienced the life of a commoner. I really liked it when he was in a congressional hearing on illegal immigration last year and broke character near the end to explain reality to them.
And some of his family died in a plane crash that happened on 9/11.
I want to vote for him. Dear god let it happen.
He's not going to be president guys. I'm not even sure he qualifies, or has the intention to.
He did the same kind of thing last election - this is more or less a celeberty stunt for his show than an actual run for office.
He got shot down last time before even being given a chance. It's not that he doesn't qualify, it's just that there are people responsible for putting people up on the ballot and I think one guy said 'over my dead body will Colbert be on the ballots'
Everything having to do with his Super PAC and stuff is great, it's some of the best and most biting satire against Citizens United around.
I am going to do a write in for him

If you're in South Carolina you won't / can't
I was hoping for Hunstman.
Now im hoping for Colbert.
If no one is running for office against Obama on the democrat side then why don't all of the democrats switch to republicans so they can vote for Colbert in the republican primary?
Ultimate presidential election:
Vermin Supreme vs. Stephen Colbert

Jesus H. Christ, everybody knows this, get over it.
Let the thread have its fun.

i wouldn't say it's a stunt, his show is a big satire
it's more like showing how big of a joke our country is right now, that a candidate can be beaten in a poll by someone not even in the race
Im going to do a write-in for him, if he doenst get on the ballot.
Please win, I want to vote for him.

it's really stupid how a state can disallow write-ins for a primary

Minnesota Pride?
Tennessee, just saying in general
I think all votes should be write in.
That is a small step towards leveling the playing field.
Just thinking. It would be pretty damn hard to make attack ads against Colbert.
Stewart+Colbert 2012
Stewart doesn't need to do anything like that. He's fine with his show and he fills the spot well.
Dude. Guys. I'm IN South Carolina. My first vote might be for Colbert.

It's also one of the only effective ways to educate the public about ridiculous things like super pacs. Colbert is my idol.

Good thing I dont live there! Might try to make him governor of wisconsin while I am at it.
together we can make this a true colbert nation
Of course it is, but it's still as hilarious as the current state of American politics.
The whole scenario reminds me of Robin Williams in "Man of the Year".
Rated you winner because that movie was fucking amazing. What a shame it didn't win any awards.
;34195783']
The problem is he's a democrat/liberal and everyone knows it, and he's running in a Republican election.
I've actually heard that he's a big libertarian. Of course, I think he was interviewing Rand Paul, so he may have just had some political camouflage smeared all over him.
I'd write him in for sure. Wether he's joking or not, he'd be leagues better than the yo-yos we currently have to choose from.
