north korea those aren't rigorously collected statistics they're collated by wikipedia editors that get their info from the new york times at best and fox news at worst. they don't count the clashes between the Ruthenian Democratic Front and the Ruthenian People's Army and so on because they don't make the news whereas the stuff i've linked takes into account all terrorist attacks

(Although the division is a bit different for people since we've interbred so much that nobody really meets the criteria.) In other words, yeah we all belong to the same species, but there are some biological differences between what we call "races". And "race" refers to a set of inheritable distinctive traits common for members of the "race", it's not a scientific term and it isn't equivalent to subspecies (when talking about humans) and certainly not to species.

Home-sapiens don't have subspecies. There can be more biological difference between me and another white British guy than someone from the middle east.
