You guys realise she's pretty much working off a script that she doesn't get much influence over right? If you take greater notice of the majority of speakers, they're speaking in a pronounced way that doesn't really flow and is filled to the brim with buzzwords.
Could she inject a bit more personality into it and possibly risk going off the script a bit? Sure, but possibly there's reasons why she doesn't that we have no insight into.
She writes a great deal of her own presentations.
Honestly, She's a great speaker in terms of actually talking and confidence, but a good writer should write a script for her or something. Her ad-libbing is pretty bad
The ad-libbing is fake. It's all in the script, you could see it on the Teleprompter in some of the shots of the crowd.
Well, I guess this is as close to getting Deadwood S4 as it can get.. :(

How the fuck did I even manage to get my hopes up from this title. I thought I'd be a reboot from Trixies perspective or something :v:

This is why I can't really hate on Tyler all that much- she's given a script because she seems "trendy," and she speaks it in the best way she can. She might have some imput on the script, but it's definitely written in Ubisoft's best interests.
I like Aisha Tyler as she seems like a cool person and genuinely loves video games.
But she's not funny. They got rid of certain games from Whose Line because Aisha can't do them and cut down the host involvement drastically because she's simply not very funny.
But she's a good host. It's just when she tries to improv or read a shit script (which all E3 scripts are) then she naturally comes across awfully.
