But there is like nothing even hinting that they are gay. Yeah, as said, they have no real sexual preferences, but even more so they definitely are not gay. So this doesn't make sense to me.
Would you be against new characters coming out to talk about gay rights?
That's the same fucking thing.
nah
you aren't born religious
Would you be against new characters coming out to talk about gay rights?
I wouldn't give a shit, I wouldn't give a shit either if later they were removed.

How would you know? I was born into a family of Catholics.
Would you be against new characters coming out to talk about gay rights?
i'd much prefer that than tampering with existing characters
no, they don't matter
if your religion mandates that you wear a colander full of spaghetti where ever you go, being told to take it off doesn't mean anything and your problems mean absolutely nothing
wow
i rest my case
I wouldn't give a shit, I wouldn't give a shit either if later they were removed.
so you're completely fine with children not being told that homosexuals exist and that homosexuality is okay
and you say you're not a homophobe?
so you're completely fine with children not being told that homosexuals exist and that homosexuality is okay

Well here's a question: Why don't you care about LGBT rights?
just like you don't care about religious freedom
How would you know? I was born into a family of Catholics.
that doesn't mean you were born religious
everyone is born atheistic and areligious
so you're completely fine with children not being told that homosexuals exist and that homosexuality is okay

What you don't seem to get is that whilst I would not care if that happened, I would not care if the exact opposite happened.
Well here's a question: Why don't you care about LGBT rights?
Because it has little effect in my day to day life. I would still get up in the mornings, go to my last year in school, I would still eat food and drink liquid, I would still make money, invest and spend it, I would still sleep and play the same games and watch the same shows. It doesn't improve my life or make it worse, which is why I don't care.
he's saying he doesn't fucking care
Which I would argue is almost worse than being against their rights.
Which I would argue is almost worse than being against their rights.
how
it's not like he would suppress their rights had he been given the chance and power
how

No, but he'd probably turn a blind eye if they got discriminated against by other groups.
Like, say he's the president of the US, he'd probably just let states or the federal government declare that gay marriage is illegal and should stay illegal, he wouldn't give a shit.
Which I would argue is almost worse than being against their rights.
It makes me less enemies however than siding with one or the other.

You seem to forget that if I was president, the first thing would be is that state government would no longer exist.
It makes me less enemies however than siding with one or the other.
a ship is safest in harbor, but it is never meant to stay
It makes me less enemies however than siding with one or the other.
The idea that you are only less antagonistic than the proponent's polar opposites isn't a comforting notion.
a ship is safest in harbor, but it is never meant to stay
It's best to steer a clear path between two storms.
it's best not to call people gay homofags on their profiles if you're trying not to come off as a homophobe

Note the lack of punctuation, spelling, grammar, how out of character it is and the posts above and below it.

Forgive me but I'm not seeing the funny.
Note the lack of punctuation, spelling, grammar, how out of character it is and the posts above and below it.
notice how even if we were aware that it's a joke it's still completely unfunny and makes you look bad
Someone, please enlighten me about this whole "LGBT rights" thing. What exactly can't a gay person do that a straight person can?

have you been living under a rock

Get married and receive the financial benefits that come with it, and that sexual orientation isn't included in discrimination laws.

Other than the things other people are going to mention to do with gay people, you seem to have forgotten the transgender part of that acronym. You tell me that transgendered and gay people are treated equally in today's society, and I will laugh in your face.

True that Trans people are not treated equally, but that's hard to regulate or fix beyond including sexual orientation or status in discrimination laws.
No, I just couldn't think of any rights that straight people have that gay people lack. I've never seen any State that forbids gays to get married, even though the law might say so.
Basically, I've never actually seen anyone inconvenienced by a lack of said rights.
