Herman Cain: Liberals killed Jesus, the perfect Conservative
85 replies, posted
There is even a section in the old testament where a man refuses to share his wealth with the disciples and then god kills him.
Great Uncle Joseph was displeased that day.
It's funny because he thinks that Romans were liberal.
He never condemned what others believed – just sin, evil and corruption.
And Muslims.
Edit:
And Liberals, can't forget the Liberals. Essential to the whole thing.
I'm a Christian and after reading that I just...
:suicide:
This is what mental institutions are for.
If anything Jesus was the liberal for his time. Many of the things he taught were revolutionary ideas at the time.
that awkward moment when herman cain doesn't realize that the founding fathers hated niggers
like a LOT
except for Thomas Jefferson
Wasn't Jesus killed by Romans?
Romans were the original republicans
:v: is all I can say
Mainly because I don't know what to say!
American politicians and parties are more outrageous then celebreties like Lindsay Lohan!
except for Thomas Jefferson
Jefferson loved blacks. Carnally.
It is a little known fact that he was a member of a secret society known as The Knights of Sex With Black People.
If Jesus were a conservative at the time he would've worshiped Jupiter. Jesus was a crazy liberal hippie who joined up with a religious nutbag rebel John the Baptist (who was one of thousands of different crazy religious people at the time, the Life of Brian is more historically accurate than the bible)
Well not like this matters. Cain was bound to be the leader of the race for a week or two and then fall like the others because even the Republicans know they don't have any good candidates. This will just be the excuse to dislike him.
Considering Jesus was very much about getting rid of tradition, wouldn't he pretty much be the opposite of conservative? Although to be honest these days conservative and liberal just seem to be buzz words.
wait wouldn't jesus be the perfect liberal
he's the kind of guy that would want pure socialism because of the equality and believed in man all being equal, forgiveness, and change
yeah he makes extremist radical super-liberals look like hardcore conservatives. Biggest fucking liberal I can think of, IMHO.
Herman Cain has everything backwards here really. Is he saying Jesus is conservative because most conservatives follow Jesus? Conservatives would make Jesus shake his head and pinch between an eyes, with a long, exaggerated sigh of disappointment.

I'd say Romans / Jews of the time were tightly conservative. But I'm biased.

Calm the fuck down.
This is the same guy that's basing his economy plans on a video game and takes quotes from films made for children.
And he's running for president, and has supporters.
You have every right to be afraid
Ironically, Liberalism meant 'to be free of'. So his statement is basically a paradox.
Open minded / Changing also can be added to that.
So yeah, Jesus was an open minded man that wanted change.
Also, I believe in Jesus as a natural human being, and a miracle worker in the sense that he was extremely powerful with words (Basically imagine a man so wise and loving that they call him a "Miracle worker", and can "Cure the blind", only with words, etc etc), not fancy magic and water-walking and all this stuff. Jesus is basically "The purest, most loving and caring human being". And I believe in god being more metaphorical than anything.
Do not vote for cain.
He is going to propose a way out of national debt, and it will look like a good idea, but if he gets in, his second term is going to change everyone's opinion of him.
Cain is sooner or later going to implement a tax system that will make inflation look like sale prices.
If any American values their financial well being, they will not vote for Cain.
Unfortunately he is going to trick America into thinking his new tax system will benefit the people. He's going to lie to everyone.
You don't have to believe this but if he is elected, this will with out a doubt happen.
Wasn't Jesus actually a fairly massive liberal and anarchist? I mean comparing the old testament to the new... :P

Apparently for them it's "to be free of sanity"

Jesus was a socialist too, healing and giving bread to the poor.
What was it that convservatives were so afraid about, socialism?
I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.

If Jesus lived today he'd have probably been a hippie.
Pretty soon they're going to say that Jesus charged the people he gave bread, fish, and wine to. They'll probably also say that he only healed the rich and let the poor suffer. If they really wanted to be like Jesus, they should re-read the Bible.
If anyone votes for him I'm giving up on humanity.
You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

Politicians don't base their political stance around their interpretation to the Bible, they base their interpretation of the Bible around their political stance. In religion the bible is a symbol and a guide, in politics it's a tool. That's how it's been since the very moment the Christians rose to power in Rome.

I prefer to think that if he comes back as anyone, he'll come back as the Emprah.
except for Thomas Jefferson
Who loved them so much he had like 20 black children.
except for Thomas Jefferson
and he also loved them so much he hired a bunch of them to work on thousands of acres of farmland
Thar would be tough love
Jesus was pretty much a socialist. A lot of conservatives don't realize that.
Also some of the first Christian societies were communistic ones.

You just proved how stupid what you're saying is. One guy is stupid therefore "I lost faith in humanity". The only way shit like that can happen is if you've never had any good time with other humans. Now, how do you figure such things happen? How does someone never have a good time with other people? Oh I know, they have no friends for whatever reason. That's what it all comes down to, their history, and on this forum people are much more likely to be lacking in the social aspect. In other words, if you had friends you wouldn't be saying such retarded things like "I lost faith in humanity"
