ITT: People get hardons that a massive media campaign for a browser made it more popular than a browser with 0 marketing.
A browser which also installs itself automatically without asking when iTunes is installed (not that I use iPoo)
Please... put that IE logo away... BLBBUUUURRRRGGGHHH
Don't make him pull out the Longhorn / Vista Beta IE logo. Full of Jell-o and whatnot.
Anything that raises Google's status is a good thing, in my opinion.
Yeah their public image atm is way down in the gutter [editline]11:15PM[/editline]
A browser which also installs itself automatically without asking when iTunes is installed (not that I use iPoo)
I don't think a checkbox in an iTunes update box compares to billboards, full page adverts in newspapers and having adverts on Youtube and Facebook
I don't really care for chrome, but V8 is some hot shit.
That's a win. I think Chrome is the only web browser that's had billboard advertising from what I remember :v:
this was bound to happen because everybody knows safari is the worst browser.
You do realize that Chrome and Safari use the exact same rendering engine?
That's a win. I think Chrome is the only web browser that's had billboard advertising from what I remember :v:
I was in the car with my mum and she was like "Google Chrome?" and I said "Where did you hear that?" and she said "Over there" and pointed to the billboard. She had jizz in her hair all day after that.
I'm going to go try out Chrome, I may be a diehard firefox fan but it doesn't hurt to try something new. EDIT Today ends 4 years using firefox.
Firefox will always be the winner with it's massive fan base and many mods.
ITT people argue over browsers as if they had a stake in how well browsers do.
Who cares? They're free programs, what does it matter which one is more popular?
I didn't even realize Safari was a contender, since so few people have Macs compared to PCs
So far Chrome seems to be faster than firefox, is there a way to turn on smooth scrolling? [editline]03:49PM[/editline] Look like it's time to join the Chrome fans and leave firefox :(
I use chrome on my laptop, it's sexy and runs fast. Still I've had some problems with it, more than I had with firefox but I'm sure it will sort out in the end.
Chrome = speed Firefox = customisation Right now I use the new chrome beta as extensions are starting to creep in
I didn't even realize Safari was a contender, since so few people have Macs compared to PCs
There is a Windows version of Safari kind sir :)
Firefox still running strong :3:
Chrome is nice, I used to use Opera, and Firefox before that, but Chrome takes the cake.
Get Chrome Beta, enjoy extensions. I have Xmarks, WOT, Adblock+, IETab and a few others currently (Smooth scrolling being one of them) :D Only thing I miss is Greasemonkey.
Chrome looks good, but I like Firefox too much.
I recently converted from Firefox to Chrome, and I must say I love it.
Ie :)
Wait, people used Safari?
I switched from Firefox to Chrome a few weeks ago, I only intended for it to be temporary but I've grown to like Chrome too much to switch back yet. I'll see if Firefox 4 is any good when that's out. The extensions I have for Chrome are great, I don't feel I'm missing much.
I depend on too many extensions to switch to chrome.
i use chrome. i used to use firefox but got annoyed at many niggly things. usually startup times. chrome also looks much cleaner and open right off that bat compared to other browsers oh and there are extensions for the dev versions now (Which are mostly stable now) , including one similar to adblock. chrome also has themes, some are ok but others are wacked out DOOD
I'll still stick to Firefox.
I like Google Chrome
Chrome is cool (I love how if one page crashes, it dosen't fuck up the whole browser), but I do miss the massive extension support from Firefox.
i never have any crashes in firefox anyway so why would i need that
why did I even come in this thread, I knew you all bash apple daily
