If this does actually happen, it will be the first game in the HD GTA series with a jetpack
ye boi
Just loaded up San Andreas, and yeah I can dive perfectly well with my V-sync fix applied. Never noticed any other weirdness like you mentioned at high frame rates though.
Last time I tried playing SA, I couldn't strafe at all with the frame limiter disabled.
Maybe you could synch your Rockstar club data with the remastered San Andreas one and get some cool stuff idk.
Will it still run at 25 fps?
You know you can turn the frame limiter off (on PC at least....)

Pfff, please

Edit: holy shit this is good. Even better if you're cruising the streets at sun down after a mission.
Wow there was some guy on /v/ claiming to test this thing a few weeks ago, I guess he wasn't bullshitting.
Improved character models, bigger draw distance, more populated cities, more pedestrian and vehicle variety. Along with lighting and texture enhancements. Yeah I would probably buy it.
Honestly I wouldn't might a bit more content as well. I mean, they got their full game, and time, might as well flesh it out even more. Imagine how awesome the end product would be.
i hope they add custom music support and a basic multiplayer(or at least split-screen 2 player co-op)
but actually this aint gonna happen
Now that'd be amazing.
Also i'd pick this up for local coop, that shit was amazing.
But, they did release it on phones and tablets. (I think that's what you're referencing to, anyway.)
The only complaint I have about San Andreas is that the game didn't give you enough time hanging out around Grove Street at the start before you have to spend over half the game in the fucking desert.
I still love the game, but I just enjoy the city settings so much more.
I think the reasoning is because its a little limiting being stuck in the Los Santos area for too long, so they needed a reason to unlock the San Fierro portion, hence the plot being in the sticks.

there is custom music support
Never played this game, tried to play it and it's one of those games where it became severely outdated with time.

It technically already was. I mean, the game takes place in 1994. :v:
It was a marvel for its time, in terms of sheer map size and the amount of stuff you could do, especially considering its launch console was the PS2. But I would agree the engine itself is pretty dated, compared to its contemporaries IV and V.

any link to an archive?
It be pretty cool if they gave this version for free for those that bought it on Xbox originals. Thought it wont happen
Please don't be like the mobile version and just improve everything, gta sa on rage would be like butter #dream
Please don't be like the mobile version and just improve everything, gta sa on rage would be like butter #dream
Now I'd say that's dreaming too much, it'll probably be just a simple remaster, the original game ''improved'' to run on consoles with achievements or the mobile game fixed.
Reminder, San Andreas turns 10 years old in 4 days (26th), this means we'll get official news by then.
when I played vice city recently I disabled the fps cap and forced max fps to 59 in my gpu driver settings, worked perfectly with no glitches that were obvious when uncapped
Tried playing the pc version, but it has barely any modern gamepad support. Wish they would update it to use the 360 controller as a layout.
They supposedly ARE doing just that. Apparently they forgot to password protect a beta for an upcoming update. Adds 360 pad support (which makes sense because it has the button icons on the Android version) but it also removes a few songs (unknown which songs are gone yet but it was lighter)
Most likely they're porting over the mobile version to every platform.

HOME. AT LEAST IT WAS UNTIL I FUCKED THING UP.
YOU PICKED THE WRONG HOUSE, FOO!!!
I think i speak for all of us when i say we need a grove street O.G storyline dlc for gta V.
god please make flying easier, or at least RC planes if they somehow fly differently. i played up to the point a year ago where you have to fly RC planes and shoot enemy deliverymen or something in a mission and the flying controls were just so fucking AWFUL that i couldnt play on any further

FUCK! MY SODA! I spilled it all over the FUCKIN floor!
Where is my Vice City re-release?
Where is my Vice City re-release?
On your phone ;_;

That mission is probably one of the hardest I've played. PC or console. I had to beat it for my friend on his Xbox and then I made the mistake of stretching and my toe hit the eject button and I didn't save.
I cried a bit.
its not that the drivers run weird, you can't dive under water for some reason, cars on the freeway will pile up for no reason, pedestrians and car spawn in general is thrown into overdrive, like i said its not graphic glitches its weird glitches
This happens with AMD dual core processors IIRC. There's a specific patch you can get for it that fixes it.
Even GTA 4 has issues with high FPS. Some missions, like the one where you have to pull yourself into a flying helicopter, from the landing bars, is really bugged. Took me like 20 tries to give up, load up fraps to limit the frames, and then finally being able to pass it on first try.

Your avatar fits your post very well

Actually it's 1992 (sorry to be that guy).
But yeah, I can't really think of another game that changed expectations like San Andreas did. It even made Vice City and GTA III look tame and restrictive by comparison. Nobody had seen a game that big, that detailed, that varied before.
