Then what's my ethnicity?
Then what's my ethnicity?
Black.
Very funny, but my skin is white.
Jewishness in Europe and Israel is considered ethnicity, only in the USA they think differently where Jewishness = religion.
Jewishness is a fucking religion, not an ethnicity. If you're white, you are fucking white, not jew-white or jhite however you say it.
Well there you can say there is no Germans, no French, no English, no Irish, no Scots, no Spanish, no Portuguese, no Austrians, no Czechs, no Slovaks, no Poles, no Slovenian, no Croatian, no Lithuanian, no Estonian, no Latvian, no Russians, no Norwegians, no Swedish, no Finnish, no Danish, no Icelandic and many many more. Everyone is white thus their ethnicity is white. Logic. :geno:
"An ethnic group is a group of people whose members identify with each other, through a common heritage that is real or assumed.[1][2] This shared heritage may be based upon putative common ancestry, history, kinship, religion, language, shared territory, nationality or physical appearance. Members of an ethnic group are conscious of belonging to an ethnic group; moreover ethnic identity is further marked by the recognition from others of a group's distinctiveness.[3][4]" - Wikipedia Yup, that's how I (and many others) view my Jewishness, as my ethnicity. As in; my ancestor's history, my culture, my appearance, kinship, semi-shared territory, and a feeling of nationalism.

That's the point, idiot. Jewish = ethnicity. Israeli = anyone that lives in Israel. Simple as that.
The problem is that A Jewish person could also mean a person who believes in Judaism, the religion. You see it's the same name for two different meanings.
It's really annoying and scary to have rocks thrown at your car, also fixing the car up will be quite costly.
You disgust me. Why would you try to justify their actions? There was no reason for them to fire at the kid, and they didn't even fire warning shots. This is just as bad as the Kent State shootings over 40 years ago. Except worse, since no one learned from their mistakes.
Fixed Jewish = Anyone who believes in judaism. Israeli =ehtnicity (more or less)
Your retarded logic can bend both ways, just like your meager brain.

Jews are ethnoreligious. They can be both, you know.
Jews are ethnoreligious. They can be both, you know.
Since when was Judaism a race, although, if true, I see your point. But I've never heard of someone being Black, White, Indian, Iranian and then Jewish. It makes no fucking sense.
The soldiers at Kent State were actually ordered to open fire.
We don't know that these ones were not. Whether they were or weren't doesn't really matter though, it was still an unnecessary death that could have been easily avoided.
There are Indian Jews, Black Jews, Iranian Jews (My grandfather is from Persia as it was called back then). Also, An Israeli Jew who came from Europe has almost the same ethnicity as another Israeli Jew who came from, let's say Yemen, because the first and foremost thing they think of themselves as, is "Jewish", not "European" or "Yemenies".
There are Indian Jews, Black Jews, Iranian Jews (My grandfather is from Persia as it was called back then).
Yes but that states the religion said person believes in. It is not related to their ethnicity.
Well, let's look at the definition of ethnicity. First of all, it includes being a part of the same religion, then there are other things like culture, common ancestry, history, physical appearance (not only color), kinship and nationalism. Most of these should be the same for both an Israeli Jew who immigrated from Europe and an Israeli Jew who immigrated from Yemen.

Religion is one thing, and ethnicity is another.
Judaism is special in this way, since over history the Jews retained their identity and only married between themselves, with an extremely low conversion rate to the religion, there were basically no outsiders who entered the community. When the age of enlightment began the Jews still kept their cultural identity all over the world, and while there were more inter-religion marriages, they were very few, and once Jewish nationalism, known as Zionism, began they were also bound together with this feeling. So you see, while Judaism is a religion, it is also an ethnicity, and a person can be Jewish in one or the other, and you don't have to be both, (for example me since I'm an atheist).
Glad you say Anti-Israel, and not anti-semitic, since I don't hate the jews. I just don't like Israel for what they are doing.
Israel isn't a collective. Israel isn't doing anything. It's just people being fucking dicks. Happens all the time all around the world. In some places more or less. I say we all smoke the peace pipe and just fucking chill and talk things through.
Why throw rocks at random cars anyway?
Would you please leave religion out of this.
What happened to that?
Throw rocks at our vehicles? We'll shoot bullets out of our vehicle. Israelites are fucking bad ass motherfuckers! Taking no shit from no fucking teenager.
If I were to pick a side, it'd be Jew.
What happened to that?
Nobody's talking about religion. The only people talking about religion are people telling people not to talk about religion and then the latter group of people explaining why they aren't talking about religion.
Israel isn't a collective. Israel isn't doing anything. It's just people being fucking dicks.
No, Israel is a country. It has a government and an army.
Ethnic cleansing.
Not even close. Don't escalate it to that please. Although I fully disagree with almost everything Israel is doing with the Palestinians. I'm not supporting them.
lol why would we be discussing Hamas/Hezbollah when the thread is about the Israelis committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.
In any other country, it's murder. In Israel, it's a war crime. Nice to see everyone is still being rational.
