I want new TNG series. TNTNG [editline]12th September 2012[/editline] quickly, before P. Stewart goes under :[
No, they need to bring back Voyager. They can just bs some way the ship gets lost again and stretch it out for another 7 new seasons.
The thing that irked me the most was the fact that phasers shot like Star Wars blasters. Phasers were and still are, more realistic "laser guns" than Star Wars blasters are.
those were disruptors you fucking casual
I thought the new movie was okay. Didn't really understand how a supernova can destroy a galaxy though. The best movie in my opinion is First Contact. Not too sure about the title of this movie.
It didn't really destroy the galaxy, but it destroyed Romulus and by extension the Romulan species because Spock's plan failed, which is why Nero and his men steal a Borg-modified experimental ship, chase Spock through the weird portal and then destroy Vulcan because they want vengeance. I definitely agree with you on First Contact, though.

The 2009 Star Trek was already better than at least half of all the other movies before it what's the big deal
Please, please, please stop making these movies Or at least get some actual Star Trek fans to write it, not Star Wars junkies. I love both Star Trek and Star Wars but for god's sake keep them separate.
Man I'm not going to lie I've never watched more than a couple episodes of the original Star Trek, but I've watched every episode of TNG, Voyager, DS9, and Enterprise(+ the movies) and I actually liked the latest movie. The reason why I liked it was because they're starting again. The series are like a piece of swiss cheese they are so fucking full of holes(don't misunderstand me for not like any of the series, I've generally liked every episode I've seen).
