Won't lie, I teared up a bit.
Gearbox now has my undying support. I shall always have complete and total faith in them, and anything that they ever release shall be a top priority of mine. That was touching.
Wow.

Did you buy Duke Nukem Forever?
You seen my gun?
Welcome to hell.
Did you buy Duke Nukem Forever?
They just finished, it was mostly 3D Realm's fault.
More game devs should be like valve and gearbox.
Very touching, glad to see another game company becoming as awesome as Valve.
I have always liked Gearbox, glad to see their human side.
Gearbox is a singular object so you use is.
You should use "is" when referring to them as a singular entity (ie in the context of them as an organisation), but you should use "are" when referring to them as a group of people.

Haha I actually bought it, and enjoy it for what it is. I hope the rumors true that gearbox is going to make an all in studio sequel, I know Gearbox can do Duke proud.
Are you stupid? Gearbox is still a group of people
Singular company.
Reminds me of this:

Fitting almost.
Wow, that was incredibly nice of Gearbox to do this.
Reminds me of the dog tag scene in SC2's campaign. It's always nice to see our favorite companies show their human side.

Nice to know that there are some hearts still beating in the industry.
This morning, we received an email from a Destructoid fan named Carlo who shared a story about his late friend Michael John Mamaril. Last month, Michael passed away due to cancer at the young age of 22. Both were huge Borderlands fans, so Carlo thought a great way to honor his buddy's memory would be to shoot Gearbox Software
Too violent, I had to stop reading here.

On a serious note, that is extremely nice of Gearbox.
Faith in humanity +1.

We've now covered grammar, cancer, and sexism...
So, how about them gays?
Reminds me of this:

That was... Really well done. Is this the same Michael?
Are you stupid? Gearbox is still a group of people
You do realize that in your own argument against him saying "Gearbox is" you said "Gearbox is," right?
That was... Really well done. Is this the same Michael?
Nar, it's just a pretty neat coincidence. It's a great advert I think.

Can we please just drop this subject and get back on topic already?
this seriously just seems like a way to get more buyers. you guys are all going "yay they ad npc of reel fan", but i'm sure they get a lot of letters about stuff like this. is it not strange that the one they add is one of the most dramatic (in some ways)?
im just saying, yes it's nice, but im not going to roll over and worship them for it
Awesome! Now he can be killed again!
When I rated you funny, Facepunch told me, "thanks dickhead."
I Love Gearbox just because Anthony Burch works there now.
I fucking love Anthony Burch.
Good to see Gearbox is one of the good companies.
Brb getting cancer to be in video game.
Are you stupid? Gearbox is still a group of people
Are you?
A group representing many people is used with a singular verb.
Would you say, "The company are awesome." No you wouldn't.
Really not the point though, I was only kidding.

:frogout:
That was... Really well done. Is this the same Michael?
No, it's a complete coincidence
they just chose a relatively common name
Are they going to like scan his dead body as a skin or something?
