I'm giving you a heart so if you lose your heart you have another one.
Tonsillitisman here, every year I get huge tonsillitis attacks, this hilarious otolaryngologist I go to said that I should get a tonsillectomy but I always shat my pants at the thought of getting them removed so I always tried to avoid tonsillitis.
Then I remember this one time, it was like 5 or 6 years ago I had this weird swelling close by (google translate says it's called phlegmon) my tonsil, something grew there and it was filled with pus and blood, they had to take it out, sat me in a chair, dad held me down, drugged me (to this day I still remember how fucked up that level of pain was, I don't think that was enough anesthetic for that weird procedure), then the otolaryngologist took this syringe with an (I shit you not) HUGE NEEDLE, they burst it, drained all the pus, lots of pain, lots of blood and lots of pus in my mouth, etc.
Then I had to get a blood test for fuck-if-i-know and the nurse couldn't get blood from my veins cause the adrenaline apparently constricted all my vessels.
Then they hooked up this weird IV thing to me, and I spent like a week in bed at my house, and this doctor would come daily and hook up a drip to it and we talked and he asked me how I was.
Phlegmon: (it was bigger, still looks disgusting in any size)

(i can't mediatag imgs, i'll look into it)
My appendix ruptured twice and it's still inside me.
Tonsillectomy increased the risk by 44%
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-
It's not 44% chance of you ever having an early heart attack, it's a 44% increase of the CHANCE that you'll have an early heart attack.
Either I'll snore loudly or I'll have a heart attack. A debate of function vs. aesthetics.

You probably wouldn't have a heart attack, this looks like a bit of a correlation study rather than an actual study into the causes.
