lets make a Crysis based math game and try it on school computers
Parents seem like idiots. They think that if someone sees a gun they will go and kill people. Except in rare cases it does not work that way. Shooting people online is a good way for anyone to vent anger there for making them less likely to shoot people.

Allot of school computers could not run a Super Mario based math game.

Math was made fun
Oh no we can't have this let's complain
By her reckoning 99% of the users on this forum including myself should be out throwing molotovs at passing traffic.
Sorry I spent my entire childhood playing computer games with and without friends instead of obsessing over the most recent trends.
Sorry I spent my teenage years playing Rome Total War and Battlefield 1942 instead of obsessing over getting my first car.
Sorry I've become a Blacksmith instead of an Accountant, but it all worked for me.

No way, Bilbo Baggins would be all over this.

Guys, guys. Shooting things in a virtual world can make you want to kill people in real life! We can't let this happen!
Yeah. I love it when every Grand Theft Auto has had people whine about it's "violence and sexual content", yet they turn around and buy their child a copy of Call of Duty. Oh wait, in the latest installment of CoD you play as good ol' American heroes so obviously it is good for the kids. Pfft. Math. Who needs it? It's better for them to learn blind patriotism.
shit that looked like planetside engine
cool game
Oregon Trail is violent!
PEOPLE DIE!
Despite its slightly shoddy presentation but an accurate account of history, we should ban it!
Marlene Perrotte is such a stupid idiot.
That actually looks pretty interesting.
Bridging People's interests with learning is more successful than staring at a textbook for hours!?, who'da thunk it?.
I hate the logic of some people.
Violent game = everyone who plays it will become a mass murderer.
That "it feeds the addiction" part made me fucking rage. :saddowns:
Oh come on you guys, they're right.
Didn't you hear the kids were EXCITED!
Unacceptable.

excited?
About doing MATH!?
MADNESS!
When I was a kid I remember my mate had a maths game like this; it was like Doom but to progress through you had to do maths problems. Like to hack a locked door you had to solve an equation.
What the hell. That looks like a good game! Not that I would play it now, but the kids seem to enjoy it. And they have to co-operate. And they learn maths.
Probably late but... Tribes Starsiege: Math Blaster edition.
Sure looked like Tribes. I'm not sure who the hell the Department of Defense hired to make that, but they can't have paid them very much.
This outcry is ridiculous. So what if they're being drawn in by the violence? What do you expect them to be drawn in by? The prospect of solving a quadratic equation? It's just a damn video game, I bet there isn't even any gore. And I for one will stick my hand out for any school that lets you play first person shooters for the sake of education.
ACTION PACKED LEARNING TOOL!
I think I found a new band name. :v:

I'm sorry guys, but learning games due have a track record of horrific goring.
Just look at those poor snow monsters, being hit with snowballs and such. IT'S BARBARIC I TELL YOU! WE CANNOT FEED THE DEVILS LIES TO OUR CHILDREN!
Next up: Postal 2: Biology Edition
... I don't get it. It just seems like the whole game was based on shooting a laser beam to a tower while doing math. No killing or anything. Sounds kinda cool to be honest.
I'd laugh if they said in the 'Not shooting at people' part if they would say this:
'Theyr not shooting at people, they are shooting at terrorists'
