Who the hell is gonna stop them? If we go in its gonna be 2004-2011 all fucking over again, then we pull out and another terrible group will take power. Not to sound like a uneducated retard, but was Iraq better or worse with Saddam?
It was just as better off as Libya was with Gaddafi. In other words, a hell of a lot better than it is now. Look at it this way; if the Arab Spring never happened, ISIS would probably not be a thing (neither would the turmoil in Egypt, the previously mentioned Libya or Syria.)
How much training do you need to hold and fire an AKM? About 3.5 seconds of "hey mag goes here, pull this, now pull trigger"
You wont survive a day if the only thing you know is how to fire an AKM.
You mean the part where the colonists were extremely poorly trained and poorly organized until the french showed up? Or the part where the modern day civilians are poorly trained, until a force shows up, it's not like the US isn't over there training people. How much training do you need to hold and fire an AKM? About 3.5 seconds of "hey mag goes here, pull this, now pull trigger" And it's not like they'd be fighting without support either, or did you forget the massive waste of money that is the US intervention in the region, THAT JUST GOT MORE FUNDING?
The part where the ONLY way England could get troops to America was through months long boat trips? The part where the ISIS will kill your entire village if you attempt to rebel?
Brave Kids (no seriously if you refuse to denounce your faith for death you are brave as fuck)
Is this guy a credible source? He is a 'Christian leader', I mean..:v:
they're children ffs offer them candy or something, there's no way they're ingrained in their religion enough at that age to choose death over islam
they're children ffs offer them candy or something, there's no way they're ingrained in their religion enough at that age to choose death over islam
A pro-candy policy could certainly turn around the public relations quagmire ISIS finds itself in.
Beheadings over a religion? Y'know, that's fucking ridiculous. Imagine a atheist saying that, they'd fucking torture him. Who care what you believe in anyway? Obviously ISIS.

Crusade time please
I wonder why these children refused to"denounce" their faith even under the threat of beheading. You must be some kind of fanatic to do so. I mean, i would do anything to survive in situation like that.
Then you walk over the medkits to heal yourself, right?
Nah he just ducks behind cover and waits for the raspberry jam to go away.
Crusade time please
Yeah I don't think the current pope would go for it. Which is fine, as he is a pretty awesome pope, though it would be fascinating to see how a modern crusade would function.

Ok, two things here: You either have a completely made up story on your hands or ISIS supporters don't know shit about islam (this is also likely). You don't "stop following Jesus to follow mohammed", muslims consider the figure of the christ as a prophet of Islam for fucksake. Now I won't make any assumption on how good or bad of a theologian the executioner might have been, but the smell of bullshit rises in the air when the order is recounted to be "give up on Jesus" and not "accept mohammed". Regardless, all of my respect to these four hypothetical poor sods, may they hypothetically rest well.

On the other hand Christians see Jesus as a being of divine origin, something that was unimaginable for Muslims. In fact, the reason why Muhammed decided to ban all depictions of his own image was to prevent getting worshiped in the same fashion Jesus is.
Can't wait to see a couple of probably untrained villagers destroy a 30,000 strong veteran army BECAUSE THAT ALWAYS WORKS IN MY FANTASY GAMES
It will work, we just need to get them a megazord.
Sickening. It really makes me wonder why civilians haven't taken up arms to combat against these monsters. Perhaps they're just as much cowards as ISIS is.
Probably because they enjoy having children, and if ISIS wants them to they won't fucking have them for much longer. [editline]15th December 2014[/editline]
The Quran recognizes Jesus as a legitimate prophet... But not much else.
probably not all that well considering almost all the western world is secular nations and even the majority christian ones are non-catholic
And even if the religious were in charge, the most powerful nations (See: UK, Germany, US, Commonwealth) would be mainly protestant.
Sickening. It really makes me wonder why civilians haven't taken up arms to combat against these monsters. Perhaps they're just as much cowards as ISIS is.
You should move over there and lead the charge!
Then Muhammed was a fucking idiot cause that clearly hasn't worked out as he planned.
Yeah he was an idiot because he couldn't see into the future.
Oh wait the American revolution happened.. well shit guess you're out of luck. It's not like they couldn't get training either, there are plenty of "advisers" that are there. What kind of training do they need? How to not get shot 101? How to insert magazine 101? How to point weapon in general vicinity of enemy and pull trigger 101? The average people don't need training, their commanders would.
Oh look the american revolution mostly won thanks to french soldiers and led againsts a military that had very little help from back home. A revolution which had weapons of much lower lethality.
Sickening. It really makes me wonder why civilians haven't taken up arms to combat against these monsters. Perhaps they're just as much cowards as ISIS is.
you literally got banned two weeks ago for an incredibly shitty post and now you did it again
ah epic victim blaming mate!
I do not fully agree with Covalent's opinion, but you're ignorant if you see his post as victim blaming. He didnt say that they brought it upon themselves or something.
I think the use of drones is warranted when these people are just cutting off innocent people's heads.
The average people don't need training, their commanders would.
Untrained citizens are no more an army than a heap of building materials is a house. Being a /k/ regular and owning fifteen guns doesn't mean you know anything about how a war is conducted either.
How much training do you need to hold and fire an AKM? About 3.5 seconds of "hey mag goes here, pull this, now pull trigger"
If you ever join/are in the armed forces, I hope you never ever hold a position of command.
Sickening. It really makes me wonder why civilians haven't taken up arms to combat against these monsters. Perhaps they're just as much cowards as ISIS is.
Yes because the power of ideals will give you army training and an entire truckload of ak-47s
And oh man did that backfire.
Mohammed isn't worshiped like a god though. What backfired?
