I'm not condescending you you asshole
You're putting them on the same level as schizophrenics and all but explicitly stating they just need to take harassment and bullying and fucking deal with it, how are you not seeing how condescending you are?
so it's k to judge someone for being homosexual even though it's something that they thesmselves can't really help being? ur a fucking joke m8.
The alternative is that such things should be immune to judgment, which doesn't really meld well with how humanity works. Nothing is immune to judgment, and just because it's not your fault doesn't mean it should be given privilege [there's that word again.....]

Oh so I'm an active bigot that hates all gays and transgendered people? I cause people to kill themselves?

Overwhelming majority does not mean all though! Why is it so fucking difficult to grasp: There is nothing wrong with his first post! Like you said overwhelming majority (which definitely does not mean all) of women have vaginas so it is an understandable and honest mistake to make. But he then refused to own up to his mistake.

because, you know, someone being a minority means their opinions or feelings don't count.
it always just becomes this HAH TRANSPEOPLE NEED TO STOP GETTING BUTTHURT XD shit
Than it devolves into a debate about transgendered people in general.
I support transgendered people but the whole victim mentality alot of them take on is a bit painful.
Anorexia and bullimia are actually much fairer comparisons than schizophrenia is I'll admit.
Yes, the main thing is things not working as they should; That's why it's called a disorder, however the reasons why it happens is different. As you said, eating disorders can be linked to genes and hormones being fucked up; But can also come from peer pressure (anorexia in girls; for example).
Here, peer pressure just fucks things up more and never starts the problem in the first place. You're a man so be a man hey! Who the fuck cares if everything inside you is telling you you're a girl right?
It's a touchy subject and hard to describe. Sexual identity is a far worse issue than something like eating disorders, not because they're all that different. But it's a fundamental part of your ego and self image. While eating disorders are a part of that, sexual identity is a fundamental part of it, you can accept your body image as it comes down to confidence and can master it psychologically even if it takes a huge amount of time.
This, you cannot. Yet people force themselves to believe that it's somehow a "choice" from the side of people with AIS, they dont have a choice, they're enslaved to what signals their body is sending them for their entire life. You try telling them they're weird? You pretty much told them you're not human. If you meant it or not, that IS what you said.
Teach me how to be as nice with words as you, I feel like the reason I get so much hate is because I use some questionable words when I could really just be using a different one :(

cool, what you're saying doesn't represent or help the issue

GSMs are victims of violence mentally, emotionally, and physically, every fucking day

I think I'm putting them on the level of mental disorders, schizophrenia was just an example.
There's one thing we can all agree, is that this is a topic that has to be discussed.
Just not by the Tumblr Social Justice or Twitter people, because incidents like this only makes this entire thing dumb.

boy it sure is hard to understand why one of the most hated fucking minoritys on the planet takes on a "victim mentality"
Can I get stuff straight?
Do transgender people really dislike being referred to their biological gender, dispute the fact that it is not incorrect to refer to them as such?
Transgender itself is not a disability but gender identity disorder is? what would qualify the difference?
I take it that the answer to Question 1 is yes according to the one agree? Or is this only the case for some transgender? or is it a characteristic of Gender dysphoria rather than being transgender?.
Are we being overly politicly correct by accusing people that refer to woman / man as their biological gender despite the fact that by definition it is correct (referring to it by gender identity is also correct but)
is it ok to refer to transgender as trans woman / trans man? this seems like a good middle ground.

if you are referring to a transperson as their biological sex then 95% of the time you are doing it to antagonize them.

But the thing is he doesn't have to accept that his word is wrong, because it isn't. Just because there's people who mess with the definition of the word doesn't really change the word's correctness.

The polite thing to do is to refer to them using the gender they identify as, not the gender usually associated with their sex.
if you are referring to a transperson as their biological sex then 95% of the time you are doing it to antagonize them.
Most people I know who have done that just didn't have it explained to them properly.
GSMs are victims of violence mentally, emotionally, and physically, every fucking day
So are blacks, whites, asians, and even fucking chimpanzees. Make a better argument.
Because they don't want to be ripped apart and called bigoted transphobes by people like you.
I'm a bigot for not wanting someone with gender identity issues to be considered mentally ill and allowed to be happy
ok

Just refer to everyone as "it" and "thing," should save you a lot of headaches in the future.
So are blacks, whites, asians, and even fucking chimpanzees. Make a better argument.
okay
stop
you're grasping at straws, that's about it
So are blacks, whites, asians, and even fucking chimpanzees. Make a better argument.
what the fuck does that have to do with anything? no ones saying that transgender people are the only people getting attacked, and just because others are doesnt diminish the issue.
Most people I know who have done that just didn't have it explained to them properly.
thats why i said 95%
4% do it from ignorance
1% does it for "medical reasons" but even then you can be a decent human being and call them by their preferred gender, its obvious they know what they used to be.
if you are referring to a transperson as their biological sex then 95% of the time you are doing it to antagonize them.
Or maybe they just didn't know? I think not knowing makes up a far greater percentage of that than 5.
So are blacks, whites, asians, and even fucking chimpanzees. Make a better argument.
yo you trying to equate me to a chimpanzee
Just refer to everyone as "it" and "thing," should save you a lot of headaches in the future.
do you feel personally offended when somebody corrects you on their gender identity?
I'm a bigot for not wanting someone with gender identity issues to be considered mentally ill and allowed to be happy
Why does it concern you so much? Why not just let people live the way they want and show a little respect and refer to them as their gender of choice?
So are blacks, whites, asians, and even fucking chimpanzees. Make a better argument.
i thought we told you to stop doing this flapadar
I'm a bigot for not wanting someone with gender identity issues to be considered mentally ill and allowed to be happy
ok
I never called you a bigot, I'm calling it rude and unfair to insult me hardcore and accuse me of some horrible things just because I don't have an overly positive belief.
Or maybe they just didn't know? I think not knowing makes up a far greater percentage of that than 5.
ignorance from a subject doesn't make you instantly innocent. educate yourself.
its not that difficult.
Who cares about being proper (not saying that using pseudoscience to be a dick to transgender persons is proper) when you can be nice?
Just refer to everyone as "it" and "thing," should save you a lot of headaches in the future.
I do feel that alot of these issues would be solved by gender neutral terms. Japanese apparently has one. can we nick it from them?
