Okay, about the issue of the parade-goers flaking around looking like silly nude clowns: I guess it is to attract awareness, that they are there, I mean yes, they look totally ridiculous, but I am aware that LGBT people already exist, I sorta don't see the actual need for it since it has been an issue for decades, yet it shouldn't be since they are as human as we are. Making the whole point moot. They can now drop the weird and get serious. :colbert: From a sociological standpoint tho, I guess the whole 'costumes' thing (or lack thereof) gets backed by tradition. They aren't actually looking like that all dae-long, but it's sorta like what they endured.
