Oh well, if the guy who hasn't done anything but stupid cameos in movies for years thinks it shouldn't change, it's settled.

God damn white cishets get pissy if their precious characters aren't the same demographic that they are.
I knew these kinds of posts would show up in this thread and I expect more before this thread dies down and/or is closed. Seriously it's like I ripped these posts off of some non-ironic/non-satirical super edgy pseudo-feminist blog on Tumblr. That is unless these comments are "ultra-ironic edgy satire" as Thisispain would say.
God damn white cishets get pissy if their precious characters aren't the same demographic that they are.
i know im a bit late but isnt that exactly what you're doing due to them not being nonwhite and trans?
marginalized groups pining for media that features people like themselves isn't the same as white men complaining about TOO MUCH diversity
No one's complaining about "TOO MUCH diversity", they're complaining about the shallow pandering that comes from changing established characters just to get praise by people who don't even fucking read comics. If you want a character to be gay or black or transgender you should make a new character and make that part of the character, not arbitrarily decide it would be better for Tony Stark to be a gay black man from Nigeria or some shit. New characters are added to comic stories all the time, look a Harley Quinn. She was created in the 90s for a 50+ year old series and now she's one of the most important characters in Batman's line up.
People will take it the wrong way but seriously, just switching up sexuality/ethnicity for the sake of it rather than creating a fleshed out character is bogus. Doing that makes it a blatantly obvious attempt at doing something for face rather than doing it because it's right.
