Gee, here's how this goes down. NFL COMissioner (let's call him Commie.):"The president and his base, who account for 99% of our fans want me to make a rule banning you from protesting the national anthem." The Player's Union:"We the legion of overpayed top notch lawyers say no."

The NFL is doing the smart thing right now of just letting it take its course. They aren't losing anything by letting go and they only risk it when they try to get further involved. Plus, as dumb as Goodell can certainly be, I don't think he's dumb enough to not realize that he'd be stomping on players rights if he got involved to stop it.
Good to see that no nonsense uncorrupted leader of ours really focusing on the important issues.
Good to see that no nonsense uncorrupted leader of ours really focusing on the important issues.
This is an important issue. If he makes enough people talk about this, they won't have the energy to pay attention to the really awful shit he is actually doing

Congress are the chess players you need to watch out for.

Think "useful idiot", someone the people can laugh and get angry at and hate while all the nasty business goes on under their noses. I'm pretty sure that's why Russia hired him anyway, although maybe they don't even know anymore.

Colin Kaperknick was a protest towards BLM and police misconduct. Now it's more of a message that people don't support the President, in general. You can see that with Stephen Curry, and how other athletes are calling out Trump on his comments. But yeah, it's not so much what the league did to Kaperknick, it's more of what the President has done in response.
As trump was tweeting this Sessions was giving a speech on how great it is to live in a country where the government doesn't tell you what to think or do. lmao

Jeff Sessions gives a speech about the importance of freedom of speech, has protesters removed from the venue.
This felt relevant.
