I live in Bournemouth and I just noticed the leaves were blowing a bit aggressively
And yet the people swimming in the dirty, sewage-laced water surprisingly do not care.
I was making a joke, jack-off

140 mph winds? I have like 30 km/h winds where I live and I feel my house shaking.

If I were driving the entire cabin would have been filled to bursting with my bowel movement.
Meanwhile, in Wales.

tragedy
I was rolling a cigarette and a bastard gust of wind took EVERYTHING out of my hands.
It's pretty fast here in east anglia
Certainly felt windy in the south west, but nothing as bad as these pictures are showing.
you sure its 140 mph wind? that's like tornado level winds...
good luck though
It was so windy here my dog blew up into the sky and flew away
rip.
I live close to New Brighton, I now live in Atlantis
my mates trampoline has blown over and gone through his conservatory roof
the worst thing I've had to deal with was the sound of a loose can from someones recycling box rolling down my road last night
Where I live, a piece of tarp blew away. That's pretty much it.

I found a piece of tarp in my garden, is it yours?

It flew all the way to India?

This fell on the bus stop I would have been using if I didn't sleep in because I couldn't sleep because of the storm.

Scotland had it the worst but it seems people concentrate on the slightly windy day England had.
wait, fuck. I fucking hope Southeastern won't cancel tomorrow's train. I take train every morning to get to my school because it takes 28 minutes instead of a hour and a half via buses. fuck fuck fuck
It's almost exclusively FCC who jump on the first chance to cancel as many trains as they can.
Last time there was a storm, they pre-emptively cancelled over fifty trains.
Also I just realised I clicked a Daily Mail link, gross.
As usual, it makes it seem worse than it is. Terrible news company.
I Sat outside to eat my lunch and my sandwich blew away.
Rip chicken and mayo ;_;7
It flew all the way to India?
Flagdog is wrong
I had a similar thing happen except a water fountain ruined my sandwich and left me soaked.
Huh, I was wondering why it was really windy out earlier. When I woke up this morning, the cupboard on the "garden path" (I say that because there's barely any garden on my front path) had been blown over. I guess I just got lucky being further inland, near the cities.
I can guarantee people from the USA will be posting here soon saying something along the lines of "that's nothing, it's way worse here" and start bragging about how shit the weather is where they live.
That's nothing, it's way worse here. Here in Texas it rains sand and ice at the same time.

I remember when we had a heatwave, a couple of dudes from the US bragged about how it was nothing and jacked off to the value on their thermometer.

The perspective in that picture is tickling my brain.
One person died in Denmark so far.
I was driving out in the freezing cold winds earlier today, almost got my car blown over when passing a lorry coming from the opposite side.

This kids fedora blew off and it continued to roll around the plaza with him chasing it for a good 2 minutes.

this picture and the picture of the truck that fell onto the cars are both horrifying
good luck people in the UK, hope you stay safe
I live in Wallasey which is what New Brighton is practically part of. It's pretty shit since they just did a ton of renovation on the place. The wind last night was pretty strong though, I'm not surprised.
Worst of all it destroyed the cool pirate ship
