Lol if the stream went down, everyone would freak the fuck out and panic sell...
DDOS attacks is what caused the last big drop yes
They are going to vote on it in 30 minutes at the bottom of the hour. The price is gonna SKYROCKET or PLUMMET depending on what happens. Hold on to your seats guys. Personally I dont have anything in bitcoin, but if it skyrockets I would hold on investing, its bound to fall, its just not worth this much as a currency.
Can't you "mine" this stuff on your computer?
Can't you "mine" this stuff on your computer?
Not anymore, unless you have access to a supercomputer or the disney render farm
Can't you "mine" this stuff on your computer?
Unless you have specialized equipment, it is a complete waste of electricity.
It's a pain in the ass to buy bitcoins in canada, there's localbitcoins.com but they're selling +200$ on the actual price right now
Someone is fucking with us hardcore
A friend told me he was going to buy a a pizza with bitcoins, until i found out that he was serious.
Someone is fucking with us hardcore
Compared to the fluctuations in the last few hours? That's really not noteworthy enough I think. Just a bit strange, possibly lots of sales in an attempt to avoid selling after a peak?
A friend told me he was going to buy a a pizza with bitcoins, until i found out that he was serious.
The first ever purchase with bitcoins was a pizza. It's a time honored tradition among nerds, like naming your programming projects after Japanese terms.
THEY ARE GONNA START VOTING SOON, LET THE PRICE FLUCTUATIONS BEGIN!
Crash, please.
Come on Bitcoin, do something funny.
I feel sick to my stomach. Had 36BTC for $5 each just over a year ago and now they're worth over $700 a fucking coin. WHAT THE FUCK. [editline]18th November 2013[/editline] I knew I should have bought some when they were $100 a coin like a month ago.
Can't you "mine" this stuff on your computer?
Yup, but it's only worth it if you have a quantum supercomputer hooked to a free power source housed in a AC cooled room in the antartica
