What's this I see... Exclusive content for purchasing from a specific store... While nothing new, I think I speak for everyone when I say: "Fuck off."
I hate store exclusive bonuses because as people mentioned, that store may not be available in other countries and it hurts the smaller companies. It's capitalism at its most pointless.
I also have pre-order bonuses because sure it's great when you have them, but what about the people that didn't have enough to buy it in advance because they were busy paying off debts or saving up for something more important (of which I've had to do both and missed pre-order bonuses in the process).
I don't mind Collectors and Special editions though. I normally buy them anyway.

This isn't a big deal. I planned on buying from Gamestop anyway since I don't wanna be arsed to get a disposable card for Steam. CE's always have extra shit and it's only 10$ more. The exclusive DLC is for pre-ordering which most of you will do anyway. I'm sure it'll be released for a few bucks online after anyway.

should i play it before i pick this up?
also gunna get it from another retailer other than gamestop, i prefer the Shotgun, sniper, etc. over a possibly rushed mission. not to mention it will probaly be DLC after a bit.

This is a prequel but you'll get some of the references if you play the original.

JC's birth date is March 17th 2029. Doubt we'll see him but we might hear about him given that the guards in the pre-order trailers have MJ12 written all over them.
Guys calm down. GameStop is a company, companies have to make money. With all the other competing companies out there, and with retail dying from things like Steam and Direct2Drive, companies need a catch to draw you in. It's a business technique.

There's a difference between a catch for one company and a catch for the game as whole. Not just for this particular example, but for any game.
