Crayola anyone? These books don't need artist grade supplies, it just so happens to be the one quoted by the article
But schools demanded them :v:
But schools demanded them :v:
And they shall get Crayola! I mean there's no reason to bug the most expensive pencils unless you are an artist or something, a kids gonna break the things anyways
faber-castel pencils r cheap shit anyway
I can't speak for their pencils, since I've only used them a few times and haven't found them any better than other colored pencils, but their fountain pens are quite nice. Full metal or wood bodies, well-polished steel nibs, great design... I'm surprised I don't have one yet. I mean, just look at that. Beautiful.
Adult coloring books are usually more abstract patterns, the idea is to unwind while you color rather than focus on an overly realistic image. Who cares about math, look at that shit! So many small places to color!... [editline]21st March 2016[/editline]
And they shall get Crayola! I mean there's no reason to bug the most expensive pencils unless you are an artist or something, a kids gonna break the things anyways
Yeah, we ended up getting cheap stuff, and sometimes not getting anything at all because we ended up not needing them or even the other kids lending theirs.
There's been a trend in people switching over to analogue lately. Although, with the arts, I honestly don't see why. Since computers can do almost everything now.
Being pretty much 100% digital artist myself now a days, I can say that you will never be able to replicate the physicality of traditional medium with your tablet. It's just a completely different experience.
You joking right? My mom got pissed off every time schools asked for colored pencils like Faber Castel or caran d'ache or whatever, which cost a fuckton of money, and would end up being useless.
Why on earth would schools ask for those brands? They are top quality artists pencils for a start! :v:
I bought the Game of Thrones coloring book. Fucked up the first picture which was the Stark direwolf. fml I want to throw it out and re-buy it so I don't have to look at that failed eyesore.
Good to help practice mindfulness and meditation, great supplementary therapy for stress and anxiety disorders. Super intricate patterns encourage deep focus and your complete attention
I did an owl one and it was nice and relaxing at first, but a little over half way I was like "WHO THE FUCK DESIGNED THIS?" and getting pissed at the intricate designs but I was too deep into it and couldn't just stop. Ended up angrily finishing that owl. Its a pretty neat owl.

Those were the kind of things they handed out in primary school for us to colour in. Loved them.
My girlfriend recently got 'the BDSM colouring book' from a friend. It was split into pages like 'B is for Ballgag'. Bizarre . Y was for Yiffing.
Well, Time to begin stocking up for the pencil crisis. Still. I wish we did hardcore recycling. You've got pencils and rulers and no longer need them.. We want them.
I have a set of pastels that cost $1000 today, but cost $200 10 years ago. Art supplies, especially the good quality stuff like Winsor Newton and Old Holland, cost out the ass now. A 40ml tube of Cadmium Red will set you back about $80
