Kids birthday invitation cards are less colorful and more serious than this.
Australian money should be toxic to spiders, snakes and any kind of native critter just to show them who's boss.
Eh, really not any better.
I dunno, I handle it occasionally and it just looks and feels nice. As Elstumpo said too, the NZ ones are designed very well too. Got a bit confusing when I was over there though - kept accidentally handing over 50's instead of 5's because they were pink haha.
You misspelled 'any country that doesn't use paper money'
and here comes the Australian elitist, who think they rules this worlds from land of the down under, where women glow and men plunder
I'm Canadian and even I think this new design looks like monopoly money.
It looks like an amature design, IMO. Very messy looking.
Everyone I've spoken to has said it looks like corn. Such a terrible design. Slapping that odd blue line on it will just make it more annoying to quickly sort and bet it'll be harder to tell if its a fake.
is australia known for its corn or something
Confirmed.
Wait, it isn't corn? I thought it was corn as well. Is it wheat?
the canadian notes are the best ones i've ever used also they smell like maple syrup when you get bigger denominations [editline]13th April 2016[/editline]
Wait, it isn't corn? Canadian notes are the indisputable GOAT of currency
wtf is wrong with countries with polymer cashola i mean it's a cool idea but why does literally -all- of it look like vaporwave money
The £5 that is being introduced later this year doesn't look anything like the other polymer money. Basically the same as the current but plastic.
Yeah nah America's physical currency is fucking garbage. Because they're all the same size and a uniform texture, blind people in America have to have someone else tell them what each of their notes is worth and then fold it in a specific way so they can tell it apart from the rest. With modern currency like ours, you can easily tell notes apart by feel. Because they're all similar colours they're more difficult to identify at a glance compared to multicoloured designs. And finally, because they're printed on paper they are fragile as all hell.
At least we're the only one with a design that doesn't look like garbage, and actually feels good to hold.
Is that Margaret Thacher?
never forget from this [t]http://preview.turbosquid.com/Preview/2014/07/10__15_03_53/100DollarBill_1.jpg8c3c312c-9b5b-4b25-8f35-3a5cca6c6f05Original.jpg[/t] to this [t]http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l18gscKsSY1qz7q8fo1_500.jpg[/t]
At least we're the only one with a design that doesn't look like garbage
Excuse me, but the Cook Islands in the South Pacific may have something to say about that:
Here's a better look at it
Here's a better look at it
Looks better than the picture in the OP, but I still prefer the old design.
Is that Margaret Thacher?
oi mate that's er maj
wtf is wrong with countries with polymer cashola i mean it's a cool idea but why does literally -all- of it look like vaporwave money
The idea is to make them as complex as possible so it's increasingly hard to counterfeit.
... So why ruin the consistency of the portrait being in the middle?
I don't know either, I think they decided to be politically correct and just got some random art student to create something. Our money was design painstakingly to be good now it isn't. I've actually started collecting fivers because i like the old ones.
