jfc... It sucks that at most he will probably have 5 vehicular manslaughter charges among other charges.
Not sure what their maximum limitation is in Victoria, but I hope that the judge comes down hard.

I can already imagine the public outcry if the judges are softcocks yet again and let him get away lightly. He was already known to the police for more than a few incidents, and he's been let-off on bail more than once, including being granted bail literally a week ago.

From what I've heard, the police opposed giving him bail last week, too (given their history with him). The justice system decided otherwise, though.

Herald Sun is a tabloid mate, basically the Fox News of Australian print :v:
i remember in high school english class we sat down with copies of the herald sun and the age and compared articles that were reporting on the same thing. not only was the age more accurate and up to date (both papers were from the same day) but the vocabulary and sentence structure was more advanced as well. the herald sun is actually legitimately intended for dumb people and as such they usually take a more sensationalist angle with big stories.

The Age is now a tabloid too... it's a news source, and a valid news source, even if you dislike its bias.
