Go home, UK, you're drunk. How could any of you people vote for this guy?
You used to be cool, UK.

We didn't.

But then we also didn't vote for anyone else; we just didn't vote for him the least.
You can't teach the horrors of internet porn without giving kids the horrible curiosity to look it up.
The only people that can keep their kids from doing that are the parents by setting up parental control and telling kids they're going to check their history.
Then again you can stumble upon horrible shit by accident just by google image searching something even with safesearch on.
Sex is a natural thing kids shouldn't be afraid of but internet porn is an unrestricted, horrible nightmare of depravity and bizarre, confusing and terrifying fetishes that kids need to stay the fuck away from.
I can't think of any time when the human race was not into sex and perversion. Can't remember what time period, but it was like during the roman ages and shit. The shit they did would make us blush.
Exactly. Who's going to teach them to slap the chick and call her a dirty, cock-loving whore? Who, I ask you, who???
rap music will
parents need to be smart about educating their children though, but hell that argument has been made for decades now with parents more or less being stupid and hopefully the kids aren't totally fucked up by it. also parents need to be more responsible themselves, don't go looking at porn on virus trap websites, because in 8 or so hours that website will have turned your machine into a porn popup infested brick and that kid will see it inadvertantly.

There was a movie made by Penthouse, about Caligula. From what I understand it's pretty much Historically accurate.
It was made by Penthouse.

not even trying to be antagonistic, that's a massive overstatement
"Menacing" porn?
How exactly is porn menacing? Is it standing on street corners wearing a hoody and drinking cheap cider or something?
To be fair there is some pretty fucked-up porn out there, but you kinda need to look for it.
I hate that menacing internet porn, it stole my lunch money one time
Most porn out there gives you a bad and unhealthy idea of what sex is really like
Porn is what gets me through the day
It is the only thing that gets me through the day.

I was once menaced by porn.
Porn once threatened my family and i had to call the police.
my brother smoked 12 pornos in one day and died from overdose dont laugh at this they are defending the children
It's incredibly clear that most of the people in this thread didn't watch the 6 minute video of what he actually said

Instead he ended up putting the fees up to £9000 a year.
How is porn menacing?
How is porn menacing?
Most porn isn't, but there is menacing porn.
They need to be taught that porn does not reflect real life and has harmful sociological consequences as well as an industry that is mostly corrupt.
Basically, kids need to be taught that sex is not immoral, but that the way it is represented in porn and the way porn is made is harmful.
Imagine a Sex Education class led by Nick Clegg.

Except for the people in the porn.
I think the solution is that everyone should start making their own amateur porn.
I think kids need to know a lot of porn sites are virus traps. Also, that not everything on the internet is legal. Other than that, what's to teach? I guess you could teach them that most porn doesn't reflect real life. Like, at all.
That needs to be taught for sure.

I don't see anything harmful in the way sex is represented in porn. People having sex - what's so harmful? As long as I know it's not what I will be experiencing in real relationships it's completely fine.
Kids also need to be taught that feitshes and kinks are alright and not a reason to bash yourself over, just a thing to deal with.
Even in "normal" porn, sex can be a lot more violent than what sex usually is. Not saying violent sex is bad, and that you are only allowed to do vanilla stuff, just that it should not be confused for what is required.
Basically, I have seen tons of article snippets from various women's websites and magazines used as examples of how porn has changed (mostly) male perceptions of what is needed when having sexual relations. All the questions from readers would be "I want my girlfriend to let me come on her face, what do I do" or "My boyfriend keeps pressuring me to do anal and I don't want to, what do I do" and the answers would be, instead of "Stop pressuring people to do things they are uncomfortable with" or "Tell him to fuck off", giving advice as if the woman is "required" to do these things now that they are "normal". It's a small thing I and many others have noticed, but it points to a disturbing subconscious confusion between acceptance and requirement.
There was also a multi year poll (I wish I could find it) going around asking men what their favorite sexual act was, and over time, it became the "money shot" because of its standardization in "normal" porn videos. Porn has a huge influence on the developing minds of kids, and instructs them on how sex is "supposed" to be. As long as porn shows violence/demeaning stuff against women in "normal" porn, people (mostly men) will be convinced that that is what they are owed when they hook up with someone.
So, in an overwhelming "normal" amount of porn I have seen recently, and in videos I remember seeing, what is going on is not what kids should be learning. It's definitely harmful.
I don't see the problem with this. Like it or not, porn isn't a good thing, especially not for young children to be looking up. Trying to deny them access to porn and teach them why it's bad is not a bad thing.

They will end up finding it anyways, but will treat it like more of an interesting thing (to them). The same way telling your kid not to smoke makes him want smoke.
[editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
Why not just explain stuff like it is to kids and don't make a big deal out of it? Not saying you should just tell your 6 year old boy:"Here is a hardcore gangbang kid", but when the kid is in puberty he is old enough to be told that there is porn and there is sex and they are two completely different things.
