Tennessee Gay-Bashing 2 Electric Boogaloo: High school principal physically assaults student for wea
I do believe that the article is not telling the entire truth. You don't get assaulted for refusing to take your shirt off, something else must of happened that made the principal "assault" the student. He wears a shirt to school, and refuses to remove it after being instructed to. The principal orders all students out of the room and then assualts the boy. If you don't believe that this is bullshit, then what is?
I'm not going to come to any conclusions however, until we get a source from another site (and also a different perspective). This article seems incredibly sensationalised.
i can't think of any situation, short of the student going berserk or something, that justifies a principal laying hands on a student
Fucking south man, fucking homophobic south...
I feel bad for all the gay people and gay rights supporters that have to deal with this kind of shit.
In my high school too revealing clothes were forbidden because it's just vulgar and school isn't the place to reveal your assets like that - a club is.
My school bans tank tops on both genders, and it's located in a valley that's really hot all the time.

Now that's stupid, it's not revealing or provoking
Except if you consider armpits a sexual asset or something
What an asshole principal i'd beat the shit out of him, disrespectful fucker.
Exactly. Why would a principal assault a student who was acting within their rights?
yeah because violence against homosexuals is such a rare incident that it deserves a lot of skepticism
who on earth would possible attack a student for supporting or being non-heterosexual thats crazy talk
its not like the entire world has had a history of homophobia and has a record of violating of their human rights as well as murdering and torturing them
you probably think that racism and sexism exist too

What's more believable, that possibly something else happened that caused the principal to assault the student, or because a principal would assault a student over a shirt? Maybe the student went berserk against the principal? The article is biased so we don't know what really happened, which is why I want sources which offer a different perspective.
It doesn't matter what the shirt the student was wearing was advocating. What matters is a complete understanding of what exactly happened. I am in no way supporting the principal, because nothing should justify assaulting a student. But what I want to know is why it happened, and if there is more to the event than what the article is stating.

The problem isn't the shirt, it's the fact that it's supporting homosexuality and that the kid is also probably homosexual as well.
That fucking principal is probably a closet homosexual anyway. He just wanted to squeeze the boy's titties.

Being homophobic doesn't mean you're gay.
there is a correlation yes, but you can't just say that every single homophobe is gay
Sigler’s mother reported that when she arrived at the school, she saw her son seated in a desk with Moser leaning over him and shouting in Sigler’s face.
where's her mama grizzly reflex? if my mum saw me being yelled at like that she'd end up going home in the back of a police car.
"Who's the big man now?"
Let's see you say that after getting ass raped in jail for assaulting a student :v:
This sounds too much like a porno.
Once again, I am so SO sorry. :(
where's her mama grizzly reflex? if my mum saw me being yelled at like that she'd end up going home in the back of a police car.
mine carried a rolling pin at all times
she had a holster for it
Exactly. Why would a principal assault a student who was acting within their rights?
If they were asking them to remove their shirt in the first place, it's obvious that the principal doesn't give a shit about the kid's rights. Why, then, wouldn't they assault the student?

I don't want to live in this state anymore...
I hate living in Tennessee. They're all opinionated towards JESUS IS EVERYTHING as opposed to logic.
when in reality it sounds like the anti-GSA petition was getting too out of hand and was causing too many problems, so the administration said "enough" and stopped both sides.
No, that sounds like a convoluted pile of gibberish invented by a wannabe internet skeptic who can't spell "attitude" to justify not trusting a source conventional news agencies consider perfectly valid because of some bullshit personal reason.
Moser then grabbed Sigler’s arm, shoved him, and chest-bumped him repeatedly while asking “Who’s the big man now?”
im fuckin dying over here

Yes, I make one fucking spelling mistake. I guess I must be an evil right-wing gay-hating hick. :downs:
And that clip was on Good Morning America today. My posts were made yesterday, prior to any actual news reports on the subject (press release != news report. Press releases are, by definition, designed to be one-sided. It's up to journalists to take the press release and report further, which in this case, ABC News has).
I guess I'm just a biased moron though because I don't instantly believe every single thing I hear on the Internet and because I make silly spelling mistakes at 1:00AM.
Welp. Looks like i'm never stepping south of Kentucky.
Tennessee once again, ladies and gentlemen
I take personal offense to this, as half of my family is from there.
But, yeah this principal was a dumbass. He shouldn't have done this in this manner.

No, you're a biased moron because you admitted you were biased, couldn't explain it, and were hating on a source the rest of the world is routinely fine with not assuming is part of some massive school-hating conspiracy. I didn't see you making any correction of your asinine explanation after the fact either. Hell, if you were genuinely hardlining your original skepticism, you still should be, since ABC only cited the original source- you're only not because you're being an ass and got called out on it.
Thanks for playing.
I live in the deep South, but luckily in a liberal city. Most of the homosexual people at my school are extremely popular, and I see "Legalize Gay" shirts everywhere. We're not all the same in the south, lol

I never admitted I was biased, I admitted that I call into question the credibility of stories that only include one side of the story. The source cited in the OP was a press release, which is, by definition, one-sided. Now that ABC News has actually done an investigation and reporting on the story, and indicated that the school refused comment, I am more inclined to believe they are covering something up.
I explained exactly why I called into question the story's credibility, right in my... third post. Can you not read? Here, I'll get it for you:
I assume the article is not 100% true because it only includes one side of the story. They didn't even attempt to get the school administration's comment on the matter.
I believe something happened here, but I do not believe we're getting teh full story.
