Concidering St.Boniface is fairly large, its unlikely she was even aware of anything. They only evacuated 100 houses that were within 4 blocks of the place.

haha I'd be down for it.
i'm game
Theres 4 Rail cars they were concerned about. 1 is an empty Bio Diesel tank, ones is a 1/2 full Bio Diesel tank, one has 378,000L of Methanol and The last one I forget. one of the rail cars de-railed when they attemped to move them with another train. The large explosion earlier was the 53' Truck tanker that blew up. I can't imagine the mess and explosion if the methonal Car was to blow. They brought the OshKosh Crash-Truck from C17 Wing to fight the fire with foam at about 10pm. Not That theres much radio chatter left now, but You can hear the FD on my website. www.scanwpg.com
Holy shit, you run that website? My mom chronically listens to that broadcast! Keep on truckin'! Also, I'm totally down for a Winnipeg meetup. We should go to the foarks or sumtin. JK its nasty there

based on the crap on the transit scanner today, all the bums wanted to ride around in circles on the bus to stay dry/warm. Did i mention people don't know how to drive in this shit weather? almost rear ended 3 times today, cut off more than usual etc. I think we should almost make a Winnipeg Thread.
I think so too. Maybe a Manitoba thread so it has more merit. Can't you make little mini forum sections you can invite people to or is that a different forum I'm thinking of... People were going 40 across chief peguis trail today at 7pm. It's eighty! What, just cause the roads are wet/slippery means you slow down to a crawl? :p

It's the same shit every year. You notice this only happens in the fall though. When spring comes and the roads are wet instead of icy, everyone starts speeding like hell.
2 Videos I took. I was stuck at the minimum safety distance, since there was a cop near by. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiHounOWT2Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw16iCQTDOA
Christ that was majestic
