Pretty sure he is still here, I think he has a slice of pie with a blue background or something for an avatar. Zapedises or something like that.
interesting article but for some reason i think its fake, nevertheless anyone feel like supporting communism today?
Yeah man, I'm up for it.
let's hope none of them ends up here.
I'm sick of the totalitarian way they rule the country.
Communism can be democratic, not normally state communism though. State capitalism also tends be lacking in democratic values although not so much.
communism is by definition meant to be a direct democracy of the people. most of the so-called communist countries are not communist, or even claim to be communist, but socialist nations in the process of a marxist revolution.
Yeah that's pretty much what I meant to say, there's lots of different kinds of communism too and not all of them have a state i.e. anarcho-communism
I'm more familiar with anarcho-communism than the others although I intend to read some further Marx at some point to enhance my understanding of the bigger picture
It's a shame most of the examples of so-called "communism" aren't actually what they claim to be and are often totalitarian. It would be very interesting to see a working implementation of the majority of the core values without the totalitarian element.
