tell trump supporters that the 15th and 19th amendments can be repealed as long as the 21st one is too they'd jump ship asap.
Right? That's what Im saying. Some massive compromises to policy and rhetoric are going to have to be made. For the next Republican presidential candidate to have any realistic chance in the general election, he or she will have to be MUCH more moderate on the social issues, if not openly left-leaning. Economic conservativism isn't going anywhere, but they may finally have to give up the fight against abortion, birth control, Hardline immigration policies, and gay rights, at the very least.
Seeing how the party released that big document on how they should reform themselves after 2012 I wonder if they are just going to release a 300+ page epic just titled "SORRY!"after this meltdown.
Good luck to them ever getting any women currently under 35 and not very conservatively christian to vote for them again. Hell I think they've even lost the damn Mormons at this point. The Mormons!
Well I mean, that's the problem with having policies that are so terrible no intelligent people vote for them so you have to rely on stupid religious people to vote for you, which puts you into a position where you can never really win by appealing mostly to them because there's dirt on everyone, nobody's perfect, and morality is hugely important to the religious vote.

I think something about Trump just seriously and deeply offends him on a personal level even if he was kissing his ass and shaking his hand back in 2012 and yes I know Romney isn't all Mormons but he's a rather well known one.
I think most people voting for trump vote not for hillary anyway, so yea... Or at least i will. All trump had to do was "not be worse then hillary" and it looks like without these wikileak mails he would have failed at that... So disappointing. Its like he wants to fail.

They like what he says, how he says it and they're defending him to the bitter end, even defending the video of him saying that to that 10 year old girl. They fully believe he's going to win and that he's ahead,it's just that dirty msm is lying and manipulating the polls. They're delusional.
They fully believe he's going to win and that he's ahead,it's just that dirty msm is lying and manipulating the polls.
Don't forget that bit about rigged elections and day dreams of ensuing revolt.

They went bernie or bust more than fucking bernie did, some even called him a sellout, and now they're acting like children because it didn't go their way. "Bernie didn't get in? Better vote Trump, the literal opposite of everything Bernie has ever stood for, because fuck America!" It's sad. Nothing that Trump says will convince people to vote for hillary because they have it stuck in their mind that she's some lizard who controls the entire media and populous, will cause ww3 right when she enters office, will instantly flip flop on all her topics when she gets into office, and that her email scandal is literally the worst thing ever compared to all the shit that trump has said and wants to do.
It's okay. Once people realize how corrupt and unethical Hillary Clinton is I'm pretty sure the GOP will grow in numbers by a large margin. Plus, why do you think that the GOP is damaged? It takes a bad PRESIDENT to change a party, not a bad nominee

Hell, have you been following, oh, I don't know, the last 20 years of American politics? The GOP isn't going to grow with how their policies are going. And please, talking about Clinton being 'unethical' while Trump is banging on about grabbing women by the pussy, mocking disabled people, saying POWs are cowards, heh. The GOP is damaged and Trump's candidacy is threatening to tear it apart. And oh, it will be a glorious thing to watch.
I can't help but cringe at everyone saying that republicans tore this country apart. Capitalism and low-governmental influence was the reason America strived. The GOP isn't going to just "disappear," resulting in new "democratic" GOP. Let's be real here
You mean the same kind of capitalism that allows big corporations to pay for laws and regulations that raise the barrier of entry and nip any potential competitors in the bud, or make their obsolete "services" mandatory at the expense of the consumers? Unregulated capitalism for the sake of competition is self-defeating.
It's interesting how involved the Obama has been in the election thus far. I get that he really wants that third term for the party, but it just comes off as inappropriate and weird to have him stump so hard for a former opponent. You'd think he'd rather be working his ass off the last few months of his presidency since he doesn't have a whole lot to lose.
The only reason it didn't happen in the last two instances (2008 and 2000) was because A) Bush was so hated by 2008 that stumping for McCain might have actually harmed him B) Gore tried distancing himself from Clinton because of the Lewinsky scandal.

Someone who's slandered you constantly in the past based on bullshit. Someone who wants to destroy your legacy and shit all over the good work you've done the past 8 years. Would you want to shake this guy's hand and hand him over your job, the most important one in the world? I wouldn't. Obama hates Trump's guts and he sees what he would do to the country he loves. I'll be campaigning like fuck too.
I will never understand Trump supporters, especially Trump supporters who don't live in the US.
I will never understand Trump supporters, especially Trump supporters who don't live in the US.
Trump support in Russia is quite easy to understand really :v:
For anyone who still labours under the delusion that Trump is somehow less corrupt than Hillary and poses less of a threat to national security, I'm going to go ahead and point out that Trump has financiers for many of his overseas businesses that belong to Vladimir Putin's inner circle, and that the man refuses to put his assets in a blind trust while he's in office, instead handing control of his businesses over to his children. If Trump is voted in, you're essentially putting Russia's dictator-for-life in a position to exert personal financial pressure on the President of the United States - A man who dodged taxes for twenty years and claimed he was "smart" for it. Nice. Which is why it was hilarious when Blizzerd called Hillary the plutocrat in another thread. If that doesn't reek of corruption to you, you're fundamentally broken.
