I set mine on fire a while back. I should have said it caught fire on it's own and sued :v:
I have 2
I have a first gen. I dunno what I would do with a new one though, maybe just for collecting but I won't use it.
Damnit, when i saw "Got an old 1st gen iPod", i thought it was touch then i saw nano. I want to replace this old fucking touch.
I used mine for the gym. Going six weeks without it is gonna suck
apple learn to fucking make batteries right
apple learn to fucking make batteries right
It's not Apple's fault, they don't make batteries.
This issue has been traced to a single battery supplier that produced batteries with a manufacturing defect. While the possibility of an incident is rare, the likelihood increases as the battery ages.
http://www.apple.com/support/ipodnano_replacement/
Dang it. My old Ipod is a second generation. so close.
I used mine for the gym. Going six weeks without it is gonna suck
It sucks for a while, but ya get used to it.
Do they give you another first gen? I kinda like being able to use Rockbox on it Edit: Nevermind, suck at reading. Cool, there are three first gens in my family haha
oooh i have one it fell into a treadmill and got bent and smashed but its still in one piece. only just
Who still owns a 1st gen iPod Nano away?
I do! I just never got round to selling it
Fuck I gave mine away for free to my uncle I havent heard from him in a while I hope he hasnt been burnt alive listening to it.
Fuck mines a 2nd Gen, would've been nice to a get a shiny new replacement. I used to have an iTouch but that sadly got stolen so I'm now stuck with this.
apple learn to fucking make batteries right
apple didn't make the batteries you schmuck
Who still owns a 1st gen iPod Nano away?
:tinfoil:
Let it catch fire........burn you.......sue for millions!
YES FINALLY, I KNEW THERE WAS A REASON I WAS HOLDING ONTO IT! /caps
Yes! I still have mine. I knew it was a good idea to keep it. Wait, it's just a replacement 1st gen. Meh.
i used mine so much the battery lasts like 2 hours, glad that i can get a new one now although it is a shame that theyre remaking a batch of 1st gens for the replacements...
i used mine so much the battery lasts like 2 hours, glad that i can get a new one now although it is a shame that theyre remaking a batch of 1st gens for the replacements...
I agree. I'd rather them just make a new batch of the 1st Gen iPod Nanos for anyone to buy. I like those so much better than the other generations.
Shit. Got all excited and sent off for the box, and now it turns out we're getting another first gen ipod back for free anyway? Oh well, I suppose at least I won't burn to death!
You'd at least think with all the money they have they could spare to spend a little more on a newer generation as a replacement... oh wait no this is Apple what was I thinking :v:
Who still owns a 1st gen iPod Nano away?
people who don't need a new one because all of the ipods are essentially the same thing as a music player?
The batteries were defective and caught on fire? Did Apple make a contract with Mann Co. for the batteries? :v:
I swear they were recalled once before just after they came out because of something to do with the screen
Let it catch fire........burn you.......sue for millions!
I think now that they've released a public recall by saying "This may happen, we're willing to replace it", it'd void all ground you'd have for your civil case.
yay! i got one off of ebay a while back for £22
