I fucking eat pepperoni pizza (1, sometimes 2 slices) virtually everyday :v:. And usually an M&M ice cream sandwich to go with it. And I'm healthly (because I do Karate and eat alright at home). Food isn't everything. Lifestyle is part of it too. You can eat the healthiest foods, and still be unhealthy because of lack of exercise, stress, etc.
[editline]12th April 2011[/editline]
get your fucking doctor to write a (fake) legal-looking document stating that you have an allergy and must bring only food that "does not contain inordinate amounts of protein, calcium, iron, or any of the vitamins A through e" inordinate meaning any amount higher than 5%
Or you could just bring your own lunch and tell the teachers to fuck off.
Anything I have at home is healthier than the shit they feed kids at school. Makes me sick knowing how many preservatives are in the chicken.
Ummmmmmmmmm there are just as many preservatives in your food as there is in school food. Infact, the main reason school food tastes like shit is salt. No seriously, its all because of salt.
My school recently banned drinks brought from home because some tard brought vodka mixed with Cola in Monster can. Our water bottles cost 1.25 each. A 24 pack of water of the same brand from Walmart costs ~$5.
Can you bring your own water bottle and refill it from the water fountains?
Yeah seriously, I always hated water bottles since it is just tap water.
Ninajd.
Ok Ok. I miss read a few things. But forcing kids to eat shit? My school has good lunch. But we have the right to bring our OWN lunch.
What I hate is their method of thinking. They think that if they have them make healthy choices, later in life they'll repeat it. In truth it's the opposite. They'll want a change of pace, and go for the other food more likely. People need to realize, it's not the matter of health, it's the matter of taste.
It's true, I used to eat a ton of junk food when I was in school, yet today I eat very healthy. Everyone did in fact.
This should have been near the start of the article.
Yeah, something tells me that has more to do with it than unhealthy food from home. It's funny though, we never had insane rules and regulations like this when I was in school. Schools of today seem more like cattle farms than actual schools, except the product is lower class workers for the future and cash for a select few.
They fed us this shit once We still don't know what it was. We think it was chicken.
Imagine if the Chicago School had that for lunch. I would feel very bad for the students. Being fed mutated cockroaches found at a nuclear power plant.
Imagine if the Chicago School had that for lunch. I would feel very bad for the students. Being fed mutated cockroaches found at a nuclear power plant.
I've seen gross chicken like that at our schools before. The square shaped pizza was pretty sweet though

[editline]11th April 2011[/editline]
Can you bring your own water bottle and refill it from the water fountains?
water fountains :barf: I try to avoid drinking out of them
The lasagna they serve in my district has pickles in it.
I would stop eating at school if they did that. My school food is unbearable.
"In this case, this principal is encouraging the healthier choices and attempting to make an impact that extends beyond the classroom."
And by "encouraging" they mean forcing to eat terrible food.
Nutrition wise, it is better for the children to eat at the school
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: You're fucking kidding me, right? The fucking shit they serve at schools is a fucking hypertension-induced aneurysm on a polystyrene plate, with more fat, and less nutrition than a fucking Big Mac with large fries and drink.
This is the public school system. The public school system is part of the government. As such, it must follow the Constitution. Forcing children to eat a certain type of food that only makes more money for the producer and is most likely garbage is against the constitution. Eating what you want is one of the most basic rights a human can have. I smell a court case inbound
There has to be some law being broken here. There has to.
Or you could just bring your own lunch and tell the teachers to fuck off.
it's funnier watching them shit their pants when they think it's real though
If I was at that school, I'd be more revolting than Glen Beck at a liberal convention. and I like watching Glen Beck.
If I was at that school, I'd be more revolting than Glen Beck at a liberal convention. and I like watching Glen Beck.
1. Its Glenn 2. We all know Glaber. We know.

You know the tap water is actually cleaner then bottled water, or its just as clean as bottled water.
Its actually gotten better over the years, we all just remember as shit because we were given shit. Does everyone forget what Obama passed last year :v:?
kidney stones?

I mean, there very well be no legal basis for them to do this, stranger things have happened. [editline]e[/editline]
.................
.................
Depends on where you live, for example whenever we would vacation near the ocean we were advised that the tap water has a large amount of chlorine in it.
should have slowly said PERFECT in an evil voice and rubbed your hands together.
Depends on where you live, for example whenever we would vacation near the ocean we were advised that the tap water has a large amount of chlorine in it.
thats to keep it clean. Pretty much all tap water has chlorine in it. What you should be worried about is what environment you live around that warrants higher levels of chlorine than other places. Mean your area is filthy
................. You know the tap water is actually cleaner then bottled water, or its just as clean as bottled water.
I don't avoid water fountains for that reason it's because assholes like to spit on them, etc.
I don't avoid water fountains for that reason it's because assholes like to spit on them, etc.
............Really?
I've never actually had a problem with the food the Cafeteria at my school serves us. Then again, I live in Canada and we have a higher food quality standard or something. But god damn it's so fucking expensive.
............Really?
yes really water fountains are full of germs and bacteria, and there's a good chance you'll get sick if you drink from one
