Chicago Public School principle bans students from bringing own lunches

I'd leave my school in a heartbeat if they adopted a policy like that. I'm not gonna say that I hate my school's lunches, but it would be pure bull to have to pay for the lunches because school policy states I can't enjoy my own. Seriously, it seems to me that schools everywhere are becoming more and more prison like. Happy its my senior year in school because I could see my high school adopting a policy like this just to force us to cough up more money. >_>

My highschool had no windows at all, just brick. The only windows were in the stairwells (which makes [i]so[/i] much sense in the event of a tornado) and in the exterior doors. It did feel very much like a prison. The cafeteria food was terrible as well.

Good thing I'm in college now.

My family won't but wheat for the simple reason that it's not much better for you, and the soda isn't too bad considering it's diet. Still the acidity, but honestly nobody gives two fucks except the health nuts. And have you NEVER wanted something sweet to eat with a meal? I really can't eat apples cause I just don't like them. I'm not gonna go out and spend needless money when I can just make a somewhat healthy lunch that does nothing for my health, when a "healthy" lunch is composed of bullshit that tastes like bullshit.
