I have been waiting for this to come to the PC for years, and my patience has finally been rewarded!
F...K... In the coffee?
This looks bad.

You know you want it though.

But it's fucking amazing.
For me, Deadly Premonition even killed Alan Wake from the story perspective.
I hope the framerate is actually bearable.

The environment graphics are super awful (the characters are more detailed) and the controls on the Xbox version are downright atrocious (They are precise, but really, really strange. You shoot with A and that's just the beginning).
Nonetheless this game is aesthetically amazing. The visual style is consistent and expressive (albeit a bit strange), the music is memorable and unique and the writing is the best I have ever witnessed in any video game.
This game has the best green day cover track ever
I never understood why people bitched about the controls in the original version. Just because it doesn't play like every generic shooter doesn't make it "bad". You adjust to it, and then it's just fine. Had no problems with it.
I loved this game so much. Cant wait to get it again.
ok really the people saying this is a bad game are shitheads
I hope it gets pushed onto the store like fucking immediately. I have money Swery. I can give it to you.
If anyone has doubts about this game Jim Sterling over at dtoid gave it a 10/10

A little lofty for sure but its just one of those "so bad, its fucking amazing and yet oddly clever" type things
Didn't know where else to put this, but it now has a Steam Page and is likely to come up for preorders very soon.

This game is really hard to describe. The best way I've found to do so is by explaining that SWERY is basically a knockoff Suda Goichi; so you should basically imagine one of his rough and unpolished but interesting and strangely captivating games, only much rougher.
That said, it definitely is the most interesting game made by someone trying to be Goichi that has ever been created. There are some very ambitious things in it, like [sp]the story relevance of the alphabetical naming.[/sp]
Swery is way different from Suda, their only resemblance is the name with a number scheme.
I really hate how Swery is only getting recognition in a "hurr so bad he's good like tommy wiseau" way.
How much is it going to cost? £15/20?
"You see that Zach? Clear as a crisp spring morning... G... N... in the Coffee."
This is such a great game.
I really don't even know how to describe it. There is so much wrong, and so much right with Deadly Premonition, the world itself has so much life that it baffles me that more polished games can't even compare with that much charm.
Honestly, I am completely incapable of explaining why I loved this game.
I just did.
YESYESYESYESYESYESYES!
GOD DAMMIT YES. I've never played this game but I've seen the first 30 minutes and I love Twin Peaks.
GIVE ME THIS DAMN THING ALREADY.
It's the greatest and the worst game you will ever play.
Even Two Best friends said that they'd rather play this than the last of us, says something doesn't it?

The PS3 version of the game was so much more bearable than the Xbox version. Hopefully the PC version is even better so one can fully enjoy the awesome story.

you sure about that? ive heard a lot of people say the older version is superior. there are a lot of framerate issues with the ps3 version that i dont quite understand, and weird graphics issues. i hope those are things they can iron out for the pc version.
It looks like shit.

the PS3 version has some nice additions, but the 360 version runs way better, and I think visually has more personality than the PS3 one. I also prefer the RE4 style controls of the 360 version. 180 turns are always useful.
this game is the definition of a cult classic. it also reminds me a hell of a lot of majora's mask in terms of atmosphere
Zach...are you there?
I watched the TBFP LP of this, and if it's funding a sequel I'm definitely up for supporting it.
