I like how everyone says this is a shit console port, when it's probably one of the best we have had in awhile. It runs great, looks great, and plays great. The whole control thing isn't even that big of an issue because you really shouldn't have a reason to change it from what it is now, as if the controls were anyway else it would be really awkward to play. Capcom did a fantastic job on this, quit your bitching.
Exactly.
oh cool you're on of those people who are stuck in the 90's thinking graphics still don't make a difference when it comes to video games. wake the fuck up, this is the 21st century, everyone expects games to have a state of the art graphics system and a developer who doesn't invest in a clearly important aspect of games really shows you his dedication level.

Who the fuck will pay $40 for this shit? I was about to buy it but fuck no.
I would.
To buy or not to buy, that is the question.
runs nicely for all the shit happening onscreen at times
controls are already set up nicely as it is
yeah it's short but there's a ton of replay value in it
everything good about DR1, plus fixed the retarded survivor ai
yep worth it
Played Terror is Reality just now, it's hella fun and it's a GREAT source of income for Single Player
Hahaha
Sorry, but no. I'd be more likely to spend $40 on plate of shit.
you're an idiot
To buy or not to buy, that is the question.
clearly the answer is to buy it
think I will be waiting for this to get cheap I couldn't get onto the first because of the controls and don't want to pay full price for something I may not like
"40 dollars isnt cheap enough for a game of this caliber"
No control customization? Fuck this retarded trend.
No control customization? Fuck this retarded trend.
didn't stop me from enjoying the game at all
Y'know, you can edit controls via some text files found in data/controls. It's been confirmed working.
Game's a good port aside from having to change some .txt files if you want to modify controls. Default Scheme is fine for me though.
53$. Not that bad actually.
I don't understand how not being able to change the controls could be such a game breaking feature. You could just use a controller if the keyboard controls suck.

There is no reason to have to change the controls. Any other way it would be awkward. Unlike most console to PC ports, Capcom actually spent time on the controls and which worked the best.
Why the fuck are you people complaining for? Over here in australia most new games are 70 - 90 dollars. This game is worth the money

Why should I buy a controller if a retarded game developer can't put in key customization.
Why should I buy a controller if a retarded game developer can't put in key customization.
A. You can.
B. I didn't tell you to buy a controller, the default keyboard controls work great.
Oh well there will be less whiny babies in multiplayer
People think it's short? Me and Craig have played it all day in the office instead of working, and I don't think we're even 20% done yet.

Also, no problems with the default keys for me. I think all games should force controls on you like this tbh. I hate how PC games aren't pick up and play. I hate having to change a bunch of options before playing.
Agreed with garry.
I played it with my bud late last night and we're not even close to halfway done yet.
I liked how I didn't have to change all the keys and shit since the default setup works just perfectly, anybody who complains and refuses to get the game based on that is retarded.
had it since yesterday, a store was already selling boxed copies
A. You can.

Well there's the problem - I hate using WASD.

Fuck you germany :arghfist::mad:
This game is so much fun playing all day long and just got to middle of day 2
Well there's the problem - I hate using WASD.
Stop gaming.
[editline]02:44PM[/editline]
Every single game out there uses WASD for a reason.
Well there's the problem - I hate using WASD.
That's not the games fault, it's yours.. This game is way to fun to pass because you can't change controls.
Can't wait to get this after I get paid tommorow.

This post is correct.
Just like with Resident Evil 5, Capcom specifically designed these controls to be useful and benefit the player.
I, personally, use an Xbox controller because I got used to the controls from playing Dead Rising: Case Zero on the Xbox.
I would of got this game today, but nooo..
There is an argument for the lack of control customization being an issue in a few cases: non-English keyboards.
Using WASD for movement isn't so easy on an AZERTY keyboard for example. They have reason to complain, assuming the controls haven't already been "localized".
However, as has been repeatedly stated, you CAN change the controls. It's just a bit more effort than people are used to.
But when that effort is "edit a txt file", and we all proclaim the best thing about PC gaming is the modding, such an effort is well within our capability.
Stop whining.
