Obviously a good amount of work still had to be put into NV, but they were able to borrow a significant amount of assets from FO3.

If fallout 3 had been the same style of game on the same engine, i would of expected it to have more quests than that. However, Bethesda had to make everything themselves. Fallout 2 and New Vegas were able to build upon the previous games which meant they already had some things done, for Fallout 3 there was nothing. These were the quests in Fallout 1: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/ZgFjtoL.png[/IMG] Fallout 2 built upon that game, which would explain why it had so many quests. Fallout 3 is more like the first game in a new series based on Fallout lore, rather than an actual sequel to Fallout 2. Fallout 2 is only the previous game in name and story.
