Bethesda registers domain with multiple Fallout 4 references

I hope to God Obsidian writes it. New Vegas had some of the best writing I've ever seen in a game, or anywhere else for that matter.

Well there was sort of, but it was a reason that was ultimately manufactured by bethesda being lazy with their AI design.
Between Dragon and Vampire attacks non essentials get killed really easily and randomly by events the player can't control. Though they could have resolved that by just setting the aggressiveness of non-warrior npcs to 0-20 so they flee from dragons and vampires on sight.
Obviously though, they didn't do that, and any shithead wearing a linen shirt and carrying an iron dagger will charge head first into a dragons jaws
That isn't a reason for it, Looking for an NPC only to found he's gone because of some random event would be kinda annoying but that's what the protected setting was for. NPCS that were set to protected couldn't be killed by anything other than the player. There should of been no essential NPCS and they should of all just been protected instead, with a way to always complete the main quest somehow.
Fallout 3 wouldn't have even existed in the first place without Obsidian Entertainment, if interplay never created Fo1/2, Bethesda could have never gone on to butcher the source material with Fo3
Actually, were it not for Bethesda, fallout's source material would have likely been butchered to a much more ridiculous degree; possibly by Interplay itself:
[t]http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080606135330/fallout/images/thumb/0/0e/BoxArt_FOB.jpg/390px-BoxArt_FOB.jpg[/t]
This game was a linear top-down shooter which led to Van Buren's cancellation that swapped the 50's music out for rock and heavy metal. Full of terrible lore inconsistencies. Had ingame product placement for a real energy drink.
Before Interplay went under, they were planning a sequel to boot.
Besides, I get the feeling most of Fo3's shortcomings come from the fact that it's not set in the West Coast. Bethesda had to build a new setting from the ground up while still testing the waters of their newly acquired IP. I'm skeptical about what might happen with Fo4, but with any luck it'll be handled more tolerably than 3.
I don't care i am so hyped right now.
74 is the same number of a Vault from Fallout New Vegas.
It however is used for some sort of tutorial.

The thread mentions that its probably not canon, which does make me wonder.

All these cryptic messages are getting me hyped as fuk.

What actually are the problems fallout 3 has regarding source material? Fallout 3 and NV are the only Fallout games I've played so i have no idea what they changed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G5wqiLiPHg from the same people who made ''I dont want to set the world on fire'' ..the beginnings to both songs are really similar.
Given that it's The Ink Spots, who Bethesda used for their iconic FO3 theme, it's looking more and more likely.

The JavaScript on the page also has a reference to 74A now.

If you go to the tumblr page that Tuskin so graciously provided earlier, it shows a screen all glitching out. You can make out West Tek Research Facility. Possibly another part of a hoax but who knows.
If you scroll down to the posts it talks about something called Ella Deux and a Savior Prog(am). The most recent post entails that a password is required to enter.
Edit
I just did a quick search on Ella Deux and in Catalan it roughly means She 2.
Something to do with West Tek is being spouted all over the tumblr. The sound clip put up gave me a really good visual imagining of a snowy city.

Also a Vault Tec symbol has appeared below the countdown that I hadn't noticed before.
I think this is the real deal guys, the countdown website is blocked at my school for being about "games" and related terms that come up include Bethesda.
They removed the ask a question button from the tumblr

The page also now has this line:
<!--- <audio src="/radio/hanscom-msg-52862c3e7a30e.mp3" autoplay loop> -->
Which I believe refers to Hanscom Air Force Base.
For those not into the know, West Tek is a location from Fallout 1, also known as The Glow
[editline]15th November 2013[/editline]
West Tek made the Power Armour.
Looks like we have an ARG on our hands...
I'm ready for the Maine DLC which takes us to a redneck filled world of pine trees, Yao Guai and snow.
Isn't Massachusetts part of the Commonwealth in the Fallout universe?
If they're referencing West Tek, I wonder if the story will be centered around FEV again, considering West Tek was the company that made it in the first place.
Isn't Massachusetts part of the Commonwealth in the Fallout universe?
Boston is the Capital of the Commonwealth of New England, which includes Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
