whats with the disagrees, yall are homos
nerds
The fact they took a few photos of themselves as a playful joke has absolutely nothing to do with discipline.
Being in the military doesn't mean you're instantly turned into some sort of an emotionless drone with no concept of playfully joking from time to time. The same thing occurs in the United States military, occurred previously in Nazi Germany which had one of the strictest discipline regimes, and the Red Army.
These girls should not be disciplined to any larger degree than maybe a slap on the wrist, at most.
The thing is, you are part of a professional organization, and you are required to keep up a level of professionalism and military bearing. Goofing off occasionally is all and good, and we do it a lot, but there is a distinct difference between goofing off and intentionally taking provocative photos.

Israeli girls are known whores, TRUST ME

That is all well and good if you volunteer for the military. Compulsory service however? The military needs to suck it up. The service is asking for THEIR help. There is no payment greater than a significant portion of your limited time on this planet. Bitching about appearances is ridiculous in this case.
I don't think anyone who has a credible profession or a sense of dignity should be doing this stuff. Regardless of what you think, it looks really bad, and frankly it's degenerate.
Israeli girls are known whores, TRUST ME
In my experience though you aren't going to find anything different in most other places, probably worse. But that's the 21st century for you.
[/moral police]
i get the distinct impression that being in the IDF is a large waste of time

It actually looks really good though.

what's the big deal with provocative? if they don't like it they should stop making military service compulsory.

True enough, I hadn't thought about the conscription aspect.
Well of course people who don't want to be in the military necessarily aren't going to adhere to the rules, maybe that's why you shouldn't shove people into it?
Then again it is still pretty dumb complaining about how they're trying to turn human beings into emotionless robots just because they won't let them run around in their underwear. Most people don't express their humanity by doing that, well except for a few crazy people here and there I suppose.
god forbid human beings act human.
We all should strip down and run around naked, for that is what makes us human.
Just kidding obviously, I know what you mean.

How else will you get your daily allowance of shooting at Palestinians?

When it has big daddy USA watching over it.

You're fucking Canadian, how many Israeli's live up there? :v:
Meh, I'm kind of ok with this. Unprofessional yes, but I am aroused. I've noticed a lot of Israeli female soldiers are pretty. I wonder if this is unique to Israel or if they have their fair share of ugly women just like other militaries.
i think it's a silly thing to get in trouble about. it's like military purposely tries to strip every member of their humanity.
if i worked in a mcdonalds and the manager there told me to please not strip naked during my shift and then i stripped down naked during my shift i would expect to be reprimanded

Canada is more culturally diverse than america man
You guys are like a melting pot, think of us as a mosaic
Most Israeli women aren't as pretty as this.
I'm surprised this thing became somewhat international, it's caused a bit of an uproar in my base a few days ago, but it's p much already blown off, I don't really know if it's worthy of being news, but, nonetheless, I don't think stuff like this are that uncommon in the IDF, and I am actually not that surprised that someone would go ahead and do this.

Trust me, there's a fair bit of ugly women as well.

It is until Israel invades Gaza or Lebanon again.
Honestly, if you give people no choice but to be in an unpleasant place they're going to spend as much time as they can trying to make it more fun.

Your experience in the Army must be very different from my experience in the Army.

They don't seem to be the brightest bulbs in the box

You can't assign some arbitrary position to these people for just having fun. I am in no way disturbed by them doing this. Good on them for livening up their military lives, but it has no effect on me or anyone else for that matter. So why get your knickers in a twist about it? I find being a relentless moral/etiquette crusader and slamming people for every little thing reflects on you and your organization even worse than letting them blow off steam/just have fun.
Balance is key, broski.
