What do you mean "a crappy" carrier? They're all shitty. Packing people in tighter and canceling or charging for perks makes their bottom line look better, so that's what they do. A larger plane isn't going to change that, it just means they can pack ever more people in per flight.
Fly business then if you're so anal about it, or better yet, don't fly.
Is it just me, or do the wings look like they're flexing a lot in the video?
[editline]04:29PM[/editline]
Give me ticks because it looks like the wings.
I don't care what kind of future plane it is, if the wings are curving when it flies, I'd be scared shitless and paranoid that it'd break.
Despite that, the interiors are nice-looking.
All wings of All planes flex and bend,
Here's a 777, you sit above the wing, but the Tip of the wing is higher than the entire cabin
Jesus christ people! It's just an aeroplane.
This is like going into the Hardware & Software section and saying "Jesus Christ people! It's just a graphic card."
I'm shocked you guys are so amazed by a fucking plane even though we are in 2009, almost 2010.
Might want to note that all the half decent engineers left this project...

What the fuck, that's the Thai flag on the tail.
The A380 impresses me more to be honest.
The A380 impresses me more to be honest.
A380 isn't that special, it's just big.
:aaa: This would be a memorable flight
Let's hope it doesn't hit an iceberg
What the fuck, that's the Thai flag on the tail.
It's not a flag at all, if anything it's more of an abstract UK flag, all British Airways airliners, with a few exceptions, are painted in this livery
The A380 impresses me more to be honest.
Me too, but it's a completely different type of airplane, this one is meant to be a medium one, the A380 is meant to be a huge one so you can't compare them. Also Boeing being American and Airbus being European, it's to be expected that some people will fake their excitement (to try and make the event bigger than it is) just because it is European/American (good old EU vs US that never seems to die, even if it's not explicit).
This reminds me of the majestic Concord.
I hope the service record is better though. I love the swept wings.

It's certainly more jaw dropping. This thing is still totally fucking rad though.
Haha, my drafting teacher didn't talk about it. I'm thoroughly surprised, seeing as he has the top of a vertical stabilizer from a 767 in his room.
All aboard the winplane now arriving at winrar.
The people in the background of that video sure are extremely excited to see an aeroplane take off

Probably had been working on it the past decade.
