Al Sharpton Joins Beyonce, Jay Z, Trayvon Martin's Mother, For "Justice For Trayvon" Vigil

It's really funny how that article is so goddamn biased (at least it seems that way to me) and how bigots like Al Sharpton are still rushing to pour gasoline on a burning building.
Maybe we can use this Zimmerman protest and redirect it. We can say "ladies and gentlemen this Zimmerman trial is a grave injustice, we should stand today to end all injustice, including the injustice being perpetrated by the NSA at every citizen, for like Treyvon we are all victims to the power of the government." Or something inflammatory like that.
Most people dont terribly care about the NSA scandal in the long run, because they feel it does not affect them directly.

i wish al sharpton would piss off already
so sick of hearing about this case
This thread title reminds me of this
Is Al Sharpton the most outright racist with the biggest following and most airtime in America? I honestly cannot think of another who gets left alone and never called out on it by the public.
That speaks volumes about the race relations and the hypocrisy of modern america.
honestly I hope Ted Nugent rushes to Zimmerman's side during all of this so we can just have one big, ol' fashioned, American race war.

For some reason this just gave me the mental image of a giant war painting of blacks vs whites with Al Sharpton at the front charging in with the rest and zimmer on the opposing sides, enraged faces and all of the people seem to have out of place weapons like swords, muskets, and crossbows.
I got all of that in a half a second after I read that for some reason, and I don't know why.
can this be done with right now
like he is not guilty
just stop
please move on with your lives
holy ballhairs

But but Obama and Beyonce said this had to do racism
Shouldn't we just blindly protest instead of looking at facts?
It's sad that that is literally what some people's argument boils down to, even if it's not worded that way.
How did something so small, get so big?
That's what I always think when I get an erection.
Things like this make me realise that the vast majority don't have the ability to actually be sensible and smart about these situations. I think the interction on Facepunch sort of worked alot of critical thinking into us all
The only thing sitting all day on sh gives you is the douchey idea that there's only one smart and sensible opinion on everything
It's kind of funny that the news outlets denouncing Sharpton just happen to the hardcore right-wing sites that are so prone to racism, from casual to the gross. And of course, they side with Zimmerman and paint Trayvon as a wannabe gang-banger that earned his bullet for no other reason that circlejerking over the second amendment. Ah, yes, I love it when a bunch of despicable hypocrites slap each other around when they aren't so different from each other.
Though, having said this, the people that enable Zimmerman-like situations to arise have wayyy more power and money that the entirety of Sharpton-like people ever will. What I'm talking about is this hyper-individualism which, in face of the rotting American society, does not think governmental action can fix ghettos and socioeconomic tensions based on race, etc. They resort to vulgar paranoia and black and white mentality (olol), based around a deification of individual power and authority, symbolized by guns.
Think about it. Why did Zimmerman end up where he was as a neighbourhood watch? The fact that neighbourhood watches with people on the lookout for crime, with a handgun at the ready, are an actual thing in a modern society is beyond me. Where I live, a neighbourhood watch is for pompous douchebags scrutinizing their perfect little community for insignificant wrinkles, like grass a centimetre too tall. For Zimmerman though, there were burglaries and a completely ineffectual police force that can't deal with simple law enforcement. He was entirely honest in wanting to do something, that's for sure; he was obsessed by it if we take into account the repeated reports he made to the police.
But that came to an end because of his prejudice when he profiled - whether consciously racial or not is pretty much irrelevant as only Zimmerman knows - Trayvon that night and immediately tagged him as a "fucking punk". He stalked him in that dark, lost him - and then Trayvon confronted him for reasons we'll never know for sure. The rest is history. In the end, his incompetence and hotheaded decision and judgement is not that far off from what you would expect from American police. Without his gun, I doubt he would've even tried to keep watch on potential criminals. But he felt powerful with it; he felt like he had authority. And power corrupts, as we all know.
To me though, Zimmerman isn't a flesh and blood man anymore; he's the name of a growing disease in the incontinent American society. You know what I'm talking about. Oblivious to their own society, ignorant of diplomacy and forethought, with regressive force at the ready to solve their own little problems. But they won't think about others or society, because the only truth they know is their own. A fitting product with the kind of egotistical and inconsiderate society America encourages and has let flourish. Well, what can you say: people have the history that they can...
But whatever, just me rambling. I probably wouldn't have anything intelligent to say about any of this anyway considering my clear race-baiting and overbearing white guilt. Now if you excuse me, I'll enjoy living in the statistically least violent place in North America :v:

It's almost as if you know absolutely nothing about the court case or the issues surrounding it aside from a 3 minute NBC news report spouting that edited audio file.
just me rambling
What the shit are you even talking about.
We've been through every single point you've made on a span of multiple threads around, and I'm gonna say you're not the smartest one to pull all these arguments, that's for sure.
what
Gosh look at all those big words you must know exactly what you are talking about
didn't they lack evidence that zimmerman had any malicious intent?
jesus what's wrong with them
Sharpton basically covered the entirety of the Zimmerman case by circlejerking with people who were extremely biased in Martin's favor and walling himself off from the defense. He practically begged to have his already biased view of this case distorted as much as possible.

Holy shit dude.
I don't like using the words "Pretentious" or "Edgy" in rebuttal, because it's a bit of a trope at this point and doesn't make my argument any stronger.
But this post has to be the most forcibly pretentious, in-your-face edgiest, and absolutely juvenile post I've read in a long time.
I simply cannot read your post without imagining you in a fedora, silently brooding over the fall of 'society'. Only you can see the truth.
'rally' in Chicago left 4 dead and 9 injured
Source? I can't find anything on this.
It must be nice to be so incredibly rich that you can fall completely out of touch with the world at large without losing any relevancy.
I would copy + paste what I had already written but I feel like my work has fallen on deaf ears.
So, I will just send a link to the facebook post I made. (Which is odd because it doesnt have a 'share' option) https://www.facebook.com/USAFans/posts/10151820670069796
I think the only ones responsible for misinformation are MSNBC and CNN.
ABC had a story showing Zimmerman's injuries as blurry and called them insubstantial before "re digitizing" the video, which seems kinda shady but I'd attribute that more to incompetence than intentional yellow journalism.
Fox meanwhile was in Zimmermans corner from day one, with commentators going on about how Martin could have possibly used the Arizona beverage as a weapon :v:
Don't forget that a local NBC station edited the dispatcher 911 call with this additional audio:
Dispatcher: Well what does he look like? White, Asian, African American?
Zimmerman: He looks black.

It's nice to see your counter-point boils down to ad hominem and dissing rich vocabulary.

I'm not counter-pointing anything, read second line of my post.
I'm basically just calling your post dumb, long-winded and completely pointless.
I wouldn't be making these posts if I didn't acknowledge the above.

More ad hominem. I win, then.

I don't think you understand, unless you're trolling but I don't believe you'd make this much effort if you were.
This isn't binary. I can call your post dumb without engaging into a fight for victory.

Sure you can call it dumb. But your reasons are shallow and ad hominem, which means you should stick to a simple, wordless DUMB rating and not bother posting at all if you're not ready to engage.
This is a discussion board after all.
