I'm still not sure why the US is paying for the lasting effects of someone else's attack on the country.
yes because we can totally bill radical islamists for the damage right
I know, I hate Australians :3.
Where is the "Bad Reading" rating when you need it?
What a horrible move. It's better off to not give a check at all, rather than one that says $0 as a "Fuck you"
It seems like the man had a pretty good case against Merrill Lynch, why would they settle for only $10000?
From the sound of it, it seems he allied himself with a lawyer who was suing on behalf of lots of people. So the lawyer knows a small settlement(which is easier to get) per person still equals a big payday for the lawyer. This is why it's vital for a person thinking of suing to research what their best options are. If someone suggests a lawyer to you, and you just use that lawyer and do what he says without looking into things first, yeah you might just wind up getting screwed.
Fucking lawyers, scum of the earth. :argh:
Nice blanket statement there.
This is probably a regional thing but I'm assuming that cheque is how you spell check in Austrailian English. Also he should rob a bank for $1 to get free medicare like that one guy.
Canadian English as well.
I know, I hate Australians :3.
No worries, we don't give a fuck, mate.
