Pure oxygen can be [b]potentially[/b] weaponized, but it's dumb and wasteful thing to do.[/QUOTE] Yeah but the thing is how do they weaponise it? strapping a tank to an RPG rocket would just fuck it up and the rocket gets nowhere, and when the RPG detonates all it would do is slightly increase the efficiency of combustion, cause at the end of the day you might have a ton of oxygen but if you want a decent explosion you need more fuel, and the rocket already has an excess of oxygen anyway cause it's not in a closed environment (like the apollo training mission you mentioned)

To make a bomb with oxygen is actually pretty complex. You have to spontaneously release the Oxygen along with the fuel then wait for it to mix in the air before igniting it. Otherwise all your going to get out of those canisters is a (non-explosive)rocket or a flamethrower.
