And the Conservatives on Facebook are already salty as fuck.
A Lib Majority surprised me! I'm happy though, anything but Harper. I hope he changes our stupid voting system though. No more First Past The Post please. Incoming Weed Tax Dosh! Money money moneeeyy. Lets get the fuck out of the middle east! No more Harper proxy war boners.
I'm fairly sure this would require constitutional reform, which is unfeasible.
Where the fuck were the NDP in all this? From official opposition to an incredibly distant 3rd party, what happened to the "orange wave?"
They fell apart due to completely and utterly bungling their own campaign. Mulcair is one of the least interesting people in the world to listen to and I personally don't believe that matters, but it does actually matter to many voters as silly as that is. They fell down face first when they had to actually make a decent shot at selling themselves. They weren't clear on enough issues, the niquab issue that the conservatives injected last minute really only took route in Quebec, the power seat of the NDP. Who knew, Quebec really cared about 2 women trying to get their citizenship without having to be revealed in front of men, or at least, they cared a lot about the story the conservatives sold on that.
I'm moving to the states.
Dont be an idiot. Move to Europe
Dont be an idiot. Move to Europe
Yeah, if you go to the right country, you get free college
I don't follow FB, mind posting?
southern_alberta.png edited to remove names because I probably shouldn't publicly shame conservative voters and stupidly posted this without doing so.
Dont be an idiot. Move to Europe
My boyfriend doesn't live in Europe.
:snip: Said a kinda dickish thing.
If only he lived on the Sun.
That's a real dick thing to say.
That's a real dick thing to say.
You're right, sorry.
Man imagine Bernie getting in power now. I'd like to travel to Canada without a fucking passport.
Trying to figure who'll run for NDP leadership presuming Mulcair resigns. Nathan Cullen and Niki Ashton are the only two leadership candidates from the last convention who have held their seats. Brian Topp could make a return I suppose, but some of the young guns from the last Orange Wave will have to step up. Should be interesting to see.
That's a real dick thing to say.
go wacth futurama
I fucking hate majorities. Trudeau's going to be better than Harper, but still probably a mediocre corporate shill. I wouldn't be surprised if we've just now got a nicer face to sell the rest of the country out. Everyone get ready to get rolled by the TPP. This is terrible.

We may still be able to smoke out trudeau.
So long as CBC gets its funding restored and Harper is shunned back to the swamp he came from for the most part I'm satisfied.
Why should he listen to anyone? They have four years of free reign.
Because he is hopefully not an asshole? I am not saying it is guaranteed he will, I am just saying that it is POSSIBLE that he will listen to a large enough public outcry as well as facts, which is part of his platform.
I'm so happy right now its difficult to contain, I'm so excited at the prospect of legalization and not having to pay so much for my medication anymore. Finally, instead of having to spend 300 dollars a month I can spend 10$ on a seed
On another note the bluejays won 11-8.
Mulcair's taking the stage!

My brother works for the NDP as a researcher. He's a bit sad that they're getting crushed but he takes solace in the fact that Harper won't be elected. [editline]19th October 2015[/editline] Hey plus legal weed.
Man... it feels weird talking about a Liberal government. Last time they were in power, I was barely politically cognizant.
Wow, Mulcair didn't resign. I'm surprised.

CBC reports that Harper will be resigning as Conservative leader shortly. End of an era.
-party's cancelled-
