RAF catches Russian Tu-160 aircraft in UK airspace

The UK should build a skywall to keep the planes out
Usual stuff: Russia isn't a superpower anymore so they start doing shit like this to try and get attention (especially since the Slavic countries joining the EU pisses them off to no end).
They aren't going to do shit, even if they had the military might required to try something against NATO (not to mention China wouldn't really like them fucking up the current balance either) they are still dependant on selling us their natural resources.
You do if you're not within range of a safe place to land and you CAN'T NAVIGATE YOUR PLANE
I highly doubt that 20 Russian aircraft have suffered from navigation malfunctions in the past year.
If they have, then:
1. They need new aircraft.
2. They need better pilots.
They do this all the time. My cousin is a Tornado pilot and was stationed in Scotland for the last few years and every few months the Russians send over a few planes just to "keep us on our toes" and we do the same to them most likely.
This is hardly news-worthy.

It is from the media's perspective. It may not seem like much of a story to the RAF, but to the average Joe on the street it's more like:
"Oh no, the Russians are preparing to attack!! Run for the hills!!"
Hah, this is nothing, during the cold war (and after) russians fired missiles over Finland that then crashed without detonating for no reason apparently, and the russians just denied everything.
I could've sworn this is stupidly old
The pilot was drunk.

No, it's just that this has happened before.
Quite a few times, apparently.
Not the most exciting news. They pull this stuff all the time and then we go up there and say "excuse me chap, I think it's about time you turned around" and they say "da" and go home.

Nope, Russia just does this a lot.
Perhaps they are just trying to pictures of our incredibly sexalicous aircraft? :ussr::fh:
I think the bear is fucking ugly.
Putin just wants to show his balls.

You're thinking of the Tu-95, this incident happened with the Tu160, the Russian counterpart to the B-1B.

Russian aircraft are hot.
That is still gross to me.
Sounds like ordinary drunken supersonic bomber pilot to me.
Good on ya lads!
Well I don't think so it's just Russia waving it's massive military cock in Nato's big stupid face
They've breached airspace before though
Massive military cock, you say?
That's not just a picture of putin sitting in any plane, he's actually sitting in the same model of plane that this article is about.
God what a fucking badass
Imagine having a president that can fly long range bombers
Yea... Imagine...

Not as badass as you think
Bush just likes pretending to be in Top Gun

I was bored one day and had nothing better to do so I searched around and estimated the total cost of everything in that picture from the some 70+ planes in each carrier, to the ICBMs in each sub, to the bombs in that B-52. I can't remember what it was, but it was a lot. a lot!
Thumb that shit bro.
In 2007, a nuclear-armed Blackjack bomber staged a mock attack on the east coast of England and got within 90 seconds of Hull without being intercepted. Creeping in low over the North Sea, it changed course only 20 miles from UK territorial airspace.
:ohdear:

Fix'd
What long range bomber, we don't have any.
We have half of one, but it doesn 't have the bombs
Scots are better than Brits.
Your an idiot...
Silly Rooskies, why you up in our grill?
Those russians need some new sanctions imposed on them. They enter our airspace with potentially dangerous stuff like that they get shot the fuck down.
Putin wanted to buy some tea.
