Far easier said than done.
Well, yes of course, but if you don't try anything, the nothing will get done.
"glaber cite your sources!"
"alright, here is obamaisablackcommie.com! it's information is irrefutable and totally unbias!"
And in the next debate, I hope Obama opens with: "Hey, Romney, see this shit? Fuck you!" and then flips him off.
Yeah, Thursday must have been fucking magical for this to happen so shortly after the President was called out on it.
the combination of cyclical and season employment has helped it get this low. sure it won't stay below 8% for very long but it's still damn good and very much so an improvement
The good thing is that the next Jobs report will come out too late for it to change the results of the election.

If it keeps schedule, it looks like the next job report will come out the night before the elections.
Not enough to influence the election.

Keep an eye on that leftist lame-stream media conspiracy Ridge. We are counting on you.

Anything that isn't negative keeps the ball in Obamas court.
if the debates continue to go the way the first one did, the job numbers may not matter.
But Obama still has time to turn things around with the next 2 debates.
Though I expect Biden to mess up.

I expect ryan to be worse than biden
I expect ryan to be worse than biden
Ryan seems to have his shit together with public speaking. Did you watch the healthcare debate? He was on the ball.
Biden can't open his mouth without making himself look like a jackass.
glaber romney is going to lose

On the other hand he lied throughout the RNC speech he had.

if you have to lie to give the appearance you have you have your shit together something is wrong
They are using the U-3 index which just shows unemployed. It is much higher if you start adding in those who are not looking for jobs, (U-4), and those who are working in jobs they are overqualified in or underemployed ie IT major working at mcdonalds (U-5) and then all the people unemployed, underemployed and working part time since they cannot get full time U-6. They should really use U-4 which currently shows us to be at 8.3%.
Unemployed are people who do not have a job and who are applying for jobs.

They have always judged it based off the labor force. That has never changed. To suddenly switch would be at best odd and at worst deceitful. And really, you haven't proved anything with the chart.
[editline]6th October 2012[/editline]
Actually, it has done one thing: Proved that it is not because of people leaving the labor force. If it were an issue of people leaving the labor force, U-4 would have stayed at the same level or gone up. It dropped however, meaning that this wasn't the case.

I'm gonna add a separate thought here and say Ryan's actions convey he is a bigger jackass than Biden will ever be.

Politicians are ALWAYS lying. Just because you want to believe the lie doesn't make it any less so.
I'm gonna add a separate thought here and say Ryan's actions convey he is a bigger jackass than Biden will ever be.
Which actions are those? Because all I've ever see Biden be is a racist who can't control his mouth.
Politicians are ALWAYS lying. Just because you want to believe the lie doesn't make it any less so.
"Yes, politicians are at every moment and every word lying. No matter what it is, as long as a politician has said it, it must inherently be a lie."
This about how daft you sound.

Prove me wrong.
Prove me wrong.
That's hardly my job, you made the assertion.
Politicians are ALWAYS lying. Just because you want to believe the lie doesn't make it any less so.
Well we have fact checkers so we can check how many times these politicians lie. We can actually quantify who is worse rather then generalize.
Because all I've ever see Biden be is a racist who can't control his mouth.
really? Biden is racist? If I put those two together in a sentence I'm afraid I might explode due to how ridiculous it sounds.
Which actions are those?
He read Atlas Shrugged and liked it.
[editline]6th October 2012[/editline]
I think saying politicians always lie is wrong and overly cynical.
Prove me wrong.
lmao how can you even posit this and think you'll come out the victor of the argument
Prove me wrong.
I love it when a person states facts and makes the other party of the argument find the sources of said facts.
This seems to be good. Is it just me, or does it seem even having a basic 4 year college degree these days isn't worth shit for getting jobs? Trade school degrees seem to be getting more valuable than regular college degrees in terms of job stability.

I can forgive him for that
Is ridge like glaber levels of stupid? I don't get how they can be this stupid. I seriously don't.
Romney will lose, everyone knows this.
Then why can't Obama defend himself when on the debate stage with Romney?
Seriously, If Obama has 2 more repeat poor performances like what happened Wednesday, Obama's chances don't look too good.

I'll admit, obama took a bit of a hit after that debate

romney played his hand in the first debate and came out like a shark, and many people were impressed.
until the next day, that is, when everyone started coming to the realization that it was all bark and no bite, the same exact thing he's been doing this whole time with vague statements and assertive attitudes.
Obama didn't even do bad, it's just he wasn't being a dick straight back to him and everyone's pinning him as weak for it. If he pulled what romney pulled I'm sure fox would be all over pulling the 'angry black man' buzzphrase again.
do you think Romney can turn the same trick twice, though? What about Obama, do you think he'll show up unprepared for a Romney that disagrees with romney talking points again? I'm asking you, glaber, what exactly you think will happen. No arguing with talking points and calling people strong/weak, but lay out for me how you think the next debates will go and why.
