The curse pretty much means "Don't fuck with my grave you assholes from the future"
It's for fucking research purposes. Yet again more straightedge faggots giving their knee-jerk reactions as soon as the topic turns to Pot. "Oh no they might damage his remains!! Stupid potheads." I don't see what is so sacred about his physical remains, they're just bones. Shakespeare's true remains are his work, not his decayed bones and tomb. :v:
I'm a dozen credit hours away from being able to teach English. Shakespeare is grossly overrated. He is only a decent playwright when compared against the drab writing of his time.
Romeo Romeo, where art thou Romeo? HAH I'M FUCKING STONED BITCH
I pretty sure marijuana use was common back then. It was used more for industrial purposes, but many people used it as a drug.

Maybe if you thought really hard for a few minutes you would be able to find a reason to read the article before you make such a post
it's dumb to assume that it's unnecessary to uproot his grave to see if he smoked pot? yeah ok
Did any of you actually read the article? (Oh wait it's facepunch of course not.) The author of the article makes it a bigger deal about that, but its also mentioned that knowledge of his cause of death is desired.
Why would digging up a guy who's been dead for hundreds of years disturb his bones? He's gone. Dead. Who gives a fuck? It's not like his "spirit" or "soul" remains with him in that grave, It's not like he's going to come from the grave and rape your grandma or something. Open it up! Who cares if it's some hippies who want to see if he 'asmokadaganja' or not. At least we will see if anything interesting was buried with him. Other researchers would probably want to take a look inside before it's closed again for however the fuck long. What about the other bodies that were dug up for any other research that could have happened? It's not like they were "sacred" Oh no!
Oxygen eats away at archaic objects. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] (new Oxygen)
it's dumb to assume that it's unnecessary to uproot his grave to see if he smoked pot? yeah ok
No but no ones digging up his bones to validate potheads, which seems to be what you're getting at. No one should dig it up at all, but no one would do it to validate anything about smoking weed.
No one shouldn't dig it up. There is nothing wrong with research being done on his body with permission.
Doesn't his grave warn you to never move his bones? :ohdear:
Yep, and if you read the article the guy has found a loophole around it :v:
Yep, and if you read the article the guy has found a loophole around it :v:
Besides I don't think Shakespeare cares anymore.
